Stopped here for the first time a few weeks ago, I had just had all of my teeth removed and they made me a dish of risotto that wasn’t even an option on the menu, everything was better than perfect and we will definitely be stopping here again, as I’ll be on a soft food diet for many months, I wish I could give a 100 stars,

Ciao Bella has been one of our go-to spots for years, and our server, Reece gave fantastic service, charm for days. He’s a good reasons to come back.

Tonight, though, the kitchen just wasn’t on its game. Food took ages to arrive, which I’m guessing had to do with a big wave of walk-ins. We had a reservation, and even arriving early didn’t help. By 9 p.m., the lights in the dining room went up so staff could clean, but there were still tables with uncleared dishes. And honestly, the dress code feels like it’s slipping—vulgar T-shirts, messy grooming… not the vibe you expect at a place like this.

When the food finally came, both my shrimp and my guest’s veal were burnt—blackened to the point I had to break my personal rule about sending food back. To their credit, the replacements were delicious and came out fast, and they comped dessert, which was kind. But we don’t make the drive from Sandusky for a free treat—we come for the great dining experience we know they can deliver.

Please, bring back the polish: keep the beautiful design visible (those heavy winter curtains can go) and the standards high. That’s the Ciao Bella we love.

Too hard to get a table. Not worth it.

Olive garden is better sadly. The food lacks flavor and there's no salt or pepper. Ordered shrimp alfredo and they served me alfredo noodles with a lemon pepper basil sauce. We had a appetizers and other dishes. Just skip this place the location is cute but that's what your paying for not quality food.

If there were 6 star ratings, this restaurant has earned it. Exemplary food, service, atmosphere and worth what you pay for. Portions are huge. Food is excellent. A definite destination place

We required a celiac menu, a children's menu and a regular menu. Kristen was extremely helpful and patient with us! She made our lunch so enjoyable. We are very appreciative of her and will be back soon!

Gooood food and friendly people

Great spot with indoor/outdoor dining. Service was friendly and attentive. Lots of menu options, reasonably priced, freshly prepared and delicious. Four adults cleaned our plated.

Dim lighting inside makes it more comfortable if you have anxiety like me. But we ate outside to enjoy the sunshine that day. Food was good. Service was prompt but apathetic. Not a very personable experience. I will say our first time was perfect second time was a different experience. But I would go there again.

Excellent environment and service, with high-quality ingredients. Unfortunately, the taste could use some improvement. The tomato sauce on top of the pizza was too watery and ended up soaking the crust. Even my son, who usually enjoys any pizza, couldn’t enjoy this one.

The server was wonderful she was very attentive sweet and efficient. The manager however was not friendly lacked in customer service my mashed potatoes were ice cold by time they were replaced i had already finished my salmon and shrimp. My asparagus was burnt and tasted terrible i had to send that back as well.

The food was absolutely incredible, with every dish full of authentic Italian flavor and beautifully presented. The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. I can’t wait to return — this place is a true gem for anyone who loves real Italian cuisine! Dave and all staff were amazing who assisted us.

Went to dinner with 3 friends. Meals were excellent. Hailey, our waitress was very good. I had Shrimp Tomato Chowder, Lamb Lollipops, and Tiramisu. Everything was very good. No photos. Staff thanked us as we were leaving and invited us back.
