Nagoya is a nice restaurant, but I'm not really a fan of hibachi food. I have been here a handful of times, and it was nice. Don't get me wrong the place is really nice, but I don't go there often. It's recommend to make a reservation because there is usually a long wait. I did enjoy the chefs doing the tricks with the food, but it's the same ones each time. I did like their soup. This place is a little pricey. Nagoya in Port Clinton is now permanently closed. The closest one now is in Perrysburg.

What can I say about the Port Clinton Nagoya? I'm disappointed. Disappointed because they are closing their doors as of December 31st. They're turning it into a BBQ joint. Why? This a terrible blow to the community. Nagoya has a wonderful atmosphere and the habachi chefs are so much fun,they put on a wonderful show while they're preparing your food. The sushi rolls are second to none!! I went tonight for my last birthday dinner there, albeit three days early. Swordfish with a double order of fried rice, vegetables, soup, salad and a Nagoya roll. As usual, everything was delicious!! There is a Nagoya at Levis Commons in Perrysburg. I've never been there, but I know a lot of people that have been and they all say the same thing, that it's just not as good as the Port Clinton location. I will have to try it since I've never been to that one. I'm definitely going to miss this one, but my last dinner there was delicious as always!! If you've never been there, you missed out.

Just picked up sushi about an hour or so ago and my husband and i went to dig in because we were so excited and ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!! Their sushi doesn’t look anything near appealing or appetizing. Took a bite of it and had to spit it back out. Spent over $40 in sushi and i want my money back we didn’t even eat it it was so gross. I’d rather just eat Kroger brand sushi!

the place is closing they gave nobody a warning the people that were buying gift cards the employees that work there and provided excellent service to them for years I will never darken their door again I just want to find out how to get my money back

Not give their employees zero notice that they will be closing. Some of their employees are only working there and doing this 10 days before Christmas is horrible. Hope you will give your employees a very nice bonus, after kicking them in the a$$.

6:30 pm reservations, still waiting at 7:13pm. Food better be good. Ran poorly up front. Great food, cook was funny. All had fun. Fix your reservation gaps.

I am going to say that the food is great! Large portions and fun atmosphere. The not so good... Reservation for 8pm seated at 8:30 and ordered at 9...Wait staff left a lot to be desired...attitudes seemed agitated and bus boys were loud and goofing off. Management made the best of a bad situation and corrected what they could. Overall I would say 4.2 stars
