I'm not sure how long the Gristmill has been open, but we just discovered it this past summer after having a place in PC for 6 years. We plan on making up for lost time. They have a cool location, make great drinks and have a very nice staff.
You know I had written this place off because the several times I went in the bartender I think Julie was her name. Long dark hair skinny girl. The drinks she made me were absolutely horrible! I understand she no longer works there because she had been cheating on her husband and her boyfriend or whatever was coming in and causing problems with customers. Anyways I went back in a couple weeks ago to hear miss kitty and the bartenders there made really great cocktails! Obviously...
Staff and atmosphere can only be topped with the quality of drinks. They make the best drinks for every taste and truly know how to assemble cocktails. I always get an old fashioned and my wife, who doesn’t drink whiskey, says she would definitely order one. A great establishment in downtown Port Clinton that is focused on quality over quantity.
