We just moved to Proctorville, Ohio from Phoenix, Arizona. I’ve been all over the country and I’ve always been a McDonald’s fan, so we were excited to have this location close by since Proctorville is our new home.
But after coming to this McDonald’s probably a dozen times over the last two months, I can honestly say we’ve been disappointed every single time — specifically with the french fries. They’re consistently undercooked, limp, and honestly pretty disgusting. This isn’t a safety issue, it’s a quality issue — they’re simply not up to McDonald’s standards.
At this point I have to wonder if the franchise owner or management has even gone through the drive-thru and tried them. It doesn’t matter what time we come, it’s the same problem every time.
This location needs to secret shop themselves or seriously reassess their fry cooking process, because it shouldn’t be this consistently bad.

I stopped by on Saturday 08-09-25 And ordered one gallon of sweet tea and one gallon of UNSWEET tea.. Their sweet tea is way too sweet so I mix it half and half, I am also borderline diabetic so I can not drink it straight.I buy the gallons because I work out of town and that is what I drink all week at work. So I buy the two gallons put them on ice and drive three hours to where I stay and work. One jug says unsweet and one says sweet. But both are sweet.....apparently an employee can not read the label on the jug or the label on the tea cantor. I am getting my lunch and drink ready for the morning and take a sip of the unsweet tea....pure sweet... I call them and of course I am upset...the person on the phone says if I come back he will give me a gallon of unsweet....they are three hours away and I won't be there till this weekend....I cant drink either gallon....And the jerk hung up on me....can't wait to visit there this weekend.
