“There is a younger Gentleman, probably about High School age, a little on the heavier side ( idk if there is multiple school age kids) who deserves A LOT of recognition and raise if they offer them! He’s been very nice and pleasant every time I’ve come through! I accidentally dropped my food while in the drive through around 4:30 on 1/30/26 and he was nothing but sweet about my mess up. Steve the owner made us welcome, and after checking the menu, I had the shrimp Po-Boy, friend had half a shrimp Po-Boy and a cup of Gumbo. I have been many times to New Orleans and the food here is every bit as good as N.O.— I took a cup of Gumbo home too. Delicious !!”

“5* atmosphere, 5* food, and 5* service, even after closing time! We have never had a bad dish or experience at Bruno’s. Unfortunately, I am developing allergies to food as an adult randomly and when I least expect it. It’s not even related foods, so sometimes it’s a mystery until I scrutinize labels, etc. My latest new allergy hit me right after I ate at Bruno’s. 100% not their fault- just my body being itself! I called right at closing to ask for an ingredient list, expecting it to be sent the next day. Jami so very kindly sent it within 15 minutes to help me figure out my latest food trigger. A+ class acts all around. Highly recommend!!!”

The food was delicious without being overly salty or heavily seasoned, which I really liked.
One thing I really appreciated was that the dining area didn’t smell like cooking oil at all. I’m usually sensitive to restaurants where the kitchen smell fills the whole dining room, but that wasn’t an issue here.
The restaurant also provides complimentary hand sanitizer, which I thought was a thoughtful touch and shows they care about their customers’ hygiene.
