“It is small but it is a good place for craft beer featuring Jackie O’s. They have a nice draft list too. I went on Thanksgiving Day so it wasn’t very busy. I think it is a lot like The Beer Trappe but with a smaller selection of beers to take home. Look forward to going back”

“It’s kind of cheap and tacky to charge a customer because they used a credit card change all of $3.51 on $87 bill. I had a big south burger and he fried apples and Gouda Mac and cheese. The pork and the big south burger didn’t taste right no matter how much barbecue sauce I put on it. The fried apples need more sugar with the cinnamon. My wife had the banging out Burger garlic fries. She thought fries were too garlicky. overall experience was 85 out of 100.”

“My husband and I had Karubees for dinner. He had curry chicken and I had jerk chicken. The sides were cabbage, mac and cheese, and rice. Chicken so tender it fell off the bone and so very tasty. As you can see in the picture, I couldn't wait for my husband to shoot the pic before I had a bite. I love that her husband picks up all ingredients instead of having them shipped so they are always fresh. I highly recommend you give it a try if you like Jamaican food.”

The food was delicious without being overly salty or heavily seasoned, which I really liked.
One thing I really appreciated was that the dining area didn’t smell like cooking oil at all. I’m usually sensitive to restaurants where the kitchen smell fills the whole dining room, but that wasn’t an issue here.
The restaurant also provides complimentary hand sanitizer, which I thought was a thoughtful touch and shows they care about their customers’ hygiene.

“Took my daughter out for her 16th birthday. The restaurant we were planning, was closedclosed so I googled seafood in the area. We found the best place, the food was Phenomenal! All fresh and so delicious. I got the honey crusted walleye, with candied sweet potatoes, and green beans. My daughter got the clam chowder, crab cakes and rice. They had other options there as well besides seafood. I gotta give compliments to the chef! 5 star food for sure! This has to be my favorite restaurant after today. “We always enjoy Waffle House. Breakfast is our to go food. There are two waffle Houses in our area. I like both but the one on 29th street in Huntington WV is my favorite. There is a young waitress there. I think her name is Shanti but I’m not positive. I have a 13 year old grandson who has had trouble with bullying and has difficulties with making friends. She teases him and is extra friendly to him. She calls him Mr. Long Hair because he like a lot of teenage boys has long hair. He loves going to Waffle House and his mental attitude has changed so much. We are very appreciative of her. She is what Waffle House is. Going home where you feel comfortable and eating a good meal with family and friends.”

“We went in after a weekend of moving furniture and other heavy stuff. Still thinking it was a Saturday but apparently it was a Monday. Anways we go in about 8:30pm ish and I didnt have high hopes and was contemplating not even eating cause I was so tired. I endup getting their Teriyaki Chicken and White Rice. WOW!! It was the freshest chicken ive ever eaten at any Asian Restaurant ive ever ate at. The Teriyaki was smothered on the chicken too, that was a huge plus for me. The portion was spot on perfect. We thought the place closed at 9:30 but again we got our days mixed. All the staff left and a man im assuming was the owner patiently sat in the other room til we were done (we suddenly relized and grabbed our stuff and thanked him on the way out). When we first entered the staff was hard at work cooking, manning the drive thru and they were all friendly and welcoming. I cant wait to come back and try the rest of their menu. Highly recommend and might go back today or tomorrow”

“This is an on campus Starbucks. I am not one who would normally go to Starbucks as I am more of a McDonald's girl myself plus I normally don't drink a lot of coffee in general. However, this is a good place I have found for me to use the Marshall Flex money I am forced to have which is nice, so I have been having Starbucks like 5 days a week as a result. Wait times are about average for Starbucks in my experience, which isn't exactly fast, but not horrible either. Orders seem to be generally right in my experience. Only knocked a star because of Starbucks' generally high kinda prices and bitter coffee. That is a Starbucks thing though, not an issue with this location. So if you like Starbucks, you will probably like it here. When I drink coffee, I usually have a preference for it iced, and I have found a few things I like here.”

“Good pizza. They partner with Meadows Elementary once a year in November. Kids draw their pictures on plain, white pizza boxes. Parents order their pizza and get to see what their child drew. They also do a canned food drive. Drop off any type of 12 canned food items and get a free pizza this year (2025)!”

Food prep time is a little slower than the burger place, but well worth a minute or so wait. The sandwiches can be served as a wrap rather than in a sandwich bun. My favorite is the roast turkey, ranch dressing, and bacon wrap.”
