Every time i go back to Marshall it changes. Very little is still there from when I was there in the 80’s. The only thing I count on not changing every time I go back is Herb. It will be sad if he ever leaves.
Best southern bells no one makes them like they do that’s my choice of drink
I come in a few times a year for work, always a stop when in town for the iconic establishment and close to the the hotel. Good drink specials different nights. Herb is great and love talking with him! Still remember my first Southern Belle with him! Definitely a college bar though which while im not exactly out of that crowd yet can be a little tough to get a seat and tables get overtaken by the groups so hard to find a spot for a single guy and not really a good place to hangout...read full review

Despite occasional bar fights, the prices are reasonable, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. Just maybe leave the kids at home for this one.
