“We arrived just after they opened 4 pm, on a Friday evening. The host wanted to seat us at a two top in the middle of the restaurant in a high traffic area. I politely asked to be seated by a window for more light and the host obliged us. We started our meal with the mushroom caps stuffed with cheese, that was ooo so gooey and light for an appetizer. My wife ordered the beef tips with gravy and onions, accompanied by whipped potatoes. She loved the dish and I ordered the Friday/Saturday night only menu item Prime Rib medium, with Brussel sprouts as well as a loaded stuff potato on the side. We both enjoyed our main courses and service we received was excellent. We decided to have dessert which was the cats meow, consisting of the Huge piece of cheesecake and the crème brûlée, both were excellent. We would recommend any couple to try this place out when looking for a nice restaurant for a couple on a special occasion.“

“When I want the world's greatest hot dog that is fast and fantastic I go to Stewarts. Plus it still has that same feeling in the pull up and dine in ur ride that I used to experience growing up. I have literally dropped in an grabbed up a gallon of their home made root beer to take home and serve my family with their dinner or dropped it off at my daughter's soft ball games, which all the kids love. So u never could go wrong with the cheapest prices in today inflation to feed ur whole family!!!“

“Not very many options, but food is decent. Decently priced. 4 can eat for $50 easy. Employees are always screaming and yelling or they have the jukebox sky high singing and dancing and Im not sure about anyone else but I prefer peace while i am out eating with my family. They are attentive to their customers, if you go around 9am or after your guaranteed to have to wait on a table because there are 6 booths and about 8 standalone bar type chairs ... Definitely need more seating and such... Or go down the road a mile n half to Barboursville waffle House !!“

“I stayed there for a few days while visiting with family and friends attending HHS/Douglas class reunion. The room was clean and spacious and my maid Meaghan Russell kept the room neat and clean throughout bmy entire stay! The hotel staff was very nice and helpful my entire stay!!!!!!“
“I love this place, and always want to take people here! The food is always super good, and so is the nitro root beer. The atmosphere is fun and unique. We love the pinball machines and other games they have upstairs, but the past few times we’ve been there a lot of the pinball machines haven’t been working, which is kinda sad.“
