Taste of Asia hibachi in Huntington offers absolutely amazing food at rock bottom prices. The food is incredible, with spectacular sesame chicken and veggie lo mein that features all white meat chicken, balanced sauces, and perfectly cooked noodles. Everything is fresh, hot, and made with care. The General Tso's Chicken is exceptional, and the red curry and yellow curry are rich and coconutty with distinctively Thai herbs and seasonings, fresh veggies, and perfectly fried tofu. Egg rolls, soups, gyoza, chicken, steak, and noodles are all 5 stars, though the sushi is plain and just okay. The atmosphere is phenomenal, and the service is generally excellent, with drinks never empty and food out in good timing. However, one experience noted a server who ignored a table and took 20 minutes to bring to-go boxes. Another customer had a terrible delivery experience where a GrubHub driver left a torn, leaking bag at the wrong hotel room, but the owner/manager personally remade the entire order and hand-delivered it to the hotel at no cost. This owner went above and beyond, treating customers like people rather than just customers. The food is unreal delicious and on caliber with the outstanding customer service. This restaurant is a definite stop for travelers and a favorite local spot.
