Biergarten at the Boathouse

This is specifically for the ice cream. I have celiacs and I wanted ice cream, so we stopped here. I went in and got the butter pecan with sprinkles. I had asked after a young lady had already scooped my ice cream if they use different scoops for each ice cream and they do. However, a woman washed the ice cream scoop, opened a new ice cream AND went and opened a new sprinkles just for me. I haven’t felt so special at an ice cream place. She took such good care of me and understood what could happen if I ingested any gluten. Also the butter pecan ice cream, I looked at the ingredients on the lid and was blown away with the simplicity and no crappy extra ingredients.
My Husband on the other hand LOVES the beer and food. The outdoor area is so much fun and great for kiddos too. We always make it a point to stop here when we’re on the island.

A perfect stop that offers German cuisine and drinks plus a shady spot to enjoy them. We stopped and enjoyed a few drinks which were very tasty as well as had an authentic pretzel!

My favorite bar on Putt in Bay. It is the perfect German beer garden. Not only was I able to get a large liter of German beer, but play corn hole and relax. They had a huge beer selection and plenty of other options. A must visit. PROST!

Come for the bartender Jami, stay for the beer. Great German selection and carries great local beer. HEAVY beer on tap is a win here. Crisp and refreshing. So run, don’t walk to this hidden gem

One of the best places on the island! The food is amazing, the drinks are great, and great atmosphere, all stemming from The best bartender there, Jami! It’s not a trip to Put in Bay without stopping here at least once

Like anywhere else in PIB there is a great indoor/ outdoor vibe, there's good German beer on draft and a wide selection of local and favorites in cans with, I'm told, an upcoming local tap as well. The food is great with more than one upscale offering and is delivered fast. Service is great and friendly, but for a beer joint, the cocktails designed by the bartender are amazing... many local spirits and creative, easy to enjoy drinks. Highly recommend!

Great landing spot when you get off the ferry. The beer is great the bratwurst was one of the best that I have had. The sauerkraut was also great. Nice place to hang out on a nice weather day and Jami was great about telling us where we could go to enjoy the island with kids.

Jami was great. We had a party of 7-10 people depending on the time of that day, most of them very intoxicated and she was very nice the entire time. Wonderful bar with great drinks.

We had a couple beautiful days on the island this past week and I enjoyed absolutely the best margarita at Biergarten at the Boathouse! The bartender was terrific, very friendly and helpful; she showed me the brand of tequila for the really refreshing drink. The food was great as well. I highly recommend Biergarten at the Boathouse, and please try the margarita.

Jami was absolutely amazing! We did a pedal wagon of multiple stops and she was by far the most hospitable server we had. We loved the atmosphere and ping pong to enjoy while we drank. Thank you again Jami for your knowledge of the menu and great service!
