“I had lunch at the Goat today and not only was the food and service excellent, but the owner went out of his way to make sure our day trip ended on a high note. My bike got a flat tire and he insisted on hauling my bike and myself to the ferry. This 70 year old greatly appreciated his kindness and you can be sure we will support the Goat every time we visit the island.”

“Had a chance to stop here during a Put-in-Bay trip and immediately understood why people talk about this place. The atmosphere feels like part winery, part island tradition, and it’s a fun stop even if you’re just browsing.

Pro tip: don’t leave without trying the grape juice. Seriously. Calling it “grape juice” almost undersells it. We still talk about it years later.

One request from an out-of-state visitor: please ship nationwide. Some of us don’t live close enough to satisfy repeat cravings.

“Visited last weekend and Reel Bar was the crowd favorite amongst our crew. We asked the kids what their favorite food/drink was and they all said their food (royal red shrimp, chicken sandwich, lobster rolls, and the french fries especially) was at Reel Bar and they loved their mocktail selection. The adults thoroughly enjoyed our fresh squeezed grapefruit and Tito’s also. Service was excellent and all the staff are extremely friendly! Highly recommend the royal red shrimp, was cooked to perfection and so delicious!”

“Of all the choices of pizza on the island The Brewery is the best! We grabbed a pizza and took it boating with us this past weekend and I couldn’t be more impressed. The staff and everyone are tremendous people. I highly recommend.”

“1st time here . Was thirsty 4 a margarita so decided 2 give this place a try . Margarita on the rocks , watermelon was very good & refreshing . I’d highly recommend this 1 . Key lime pie shot was very good . If ur looking 4 a good margarita on the island I’d suggest u try this place. U won’t be disappointed .”

“The geode cave was pretty and the winery tour was great. At the end you get a sample. What I loved is that they don't use sugar in their grape juice. I am a diabetic and this made me very happy.”

“We visited the Red Moon on my first trip to Put-In-Bay this weekend. The drinks are very creative and delicious. The atmosphere was very dark and moody. The music wasn’t too loud. It was easy to chat. The staff was excellent. I would highly recommend this speakeasy, especially if you’re not looking for a party place but more of a relaxing drink.”

“Great place! My 9 year old had the best time too. They allow kids during the day Mon-Thursday for $10. I highly recommend this place for a day by the pool. The music brought me back to my 20’s -club days. We had a great afternoon! You feel like you’re at the beach here, & in this town. Will return”

“Order 4 pizzas and 2 orders of black sticks maybe a hour ago to bay lodging! Let me tell yeah they cut the pizza to be party slices for 1 and they distributed pizza thought the bar as I asked the delivery driver was very friendly and nice to work with! Let me tell ya all the food as a hit! And couldn’t complain any less about the top notch service they provided me and our lake Saint Clair group! We definitely will be using them for the days to come. And even their walk up window at 2am then we need the midnight snack”

The bar has a massive variety of drinks and a great atmosphere throughout the restaurant for ALL ages!!”

“The bar part is great - ample outdoor seating, fun “bucket” souvenir drinks, great location with a view.

Edit- regarding the pizza place inside -The food is clearly made for people who have been drinking substantially. Two small “tubes” of sour cream for the nacho appetizer with an upcharge for more is just silly.”
