“Coffee and other drinks are delightful after a long day of exploring the island. Don't plan an outing on Monday or Tuesday. Miller's Ferry had 4 hours between the midday run and pick up and the winery and main house are not open. However the restaurant was open and good and the swimming pool behind it was cooling. The state park has trails and the pollinator plantings were amazing.”

“Wonderful food, friendly people, quick service. Came to Middle Bass for a quick island stop to refuel and refresh after a day of boating, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The people who work here are very friendly. The restaurant itself is simplistic and pleasant. The food was PHENOMENAL. The cheese bread (or whatever it was called, I can't quite remember) was delicious, simply superb. The pickle pizza was also delicious, these people have the brilliance of putting ruffles chips on top as well. Simply amazing, awesome, and will return again!”

“With the name Resort in the title, you may expect 4 or 5 star accommodations. Hazards is not The Hilton. What you get are camp chalets, cabins and some of the nicest staff and crew that love where they work and live. It’s the family friendly version of Put In Bay. Adults who are looking to cut loose without the drama you may get elsewhere. Hazards on Middle Bass is a little slice of heaven. You will deal with the nature that comes with island life. So leave those complaints at home. Plenty of bugs. But there is also beautiful wildlife such as swans, eagles and lots of brown rabbits. During the day, cozy up to the pool with plenty of seating. At night, cut loose with live entertainment. The staff will give you plenty of advice on where to explore on the island. And they will be ready with a smile everytime you walk in the front door. I can’t say enough about how fun this place can be.”

“I had lunch at the Goat today and not only was the food and service excellent, but the owner went out of his way to make sure our day trip ended on a high note. My bike got a flat tire and he insisted on hauling my bike and myself to the ferry. This 70 year old greatly appreciated his kindness and you can be sure we will support the Goat every time we visit the island.”

“We really enjoyed our visit yesterday at this winery. Ivan was very helpful with assisting us with our selection of wines for tastings. Then he made the best chocolate martini ever! All 5 of us just loved it. Thank you Ivan for making the raining day shine! We spent most of the afternoon here talking and enjoying our wine.”

“My family and I come out on the occasional Saturday, usually sundays for rides on our Harleys. We patronize most bar and grills along the way. Never have we been in fights, arguments, or any type of disturbances, but yesterday I encountered 6 police officers and two undercover lady cops leading me out of this place due to a customer saying I was armed and dangerous. The most embarrassing thing due to us having family in from Columbus and being treated like we did something wrong.i will say the owner definitely 👍🏽 stood her ground and made sure the police knew we was welcome there also let them know we are not a disruptive group thank u so much we appreciate you … and the security guard was in shock considering he talked to everyone of us and only had good things to say about our group. But the establishment gets 100 stars from me”
