Coffee and other drinks are delightful after a long day of exploring the island. Don't plan an outing on Monday or Tuesday. Miller's Ferry had 4 hours between the midday run and pick up and the winery and main house are not open. However the restaurant was open and good and the swimming pool behind it was cooling. The state park has trails and the pollinator plantings were amazing.
We recently spent 3 nights on Middle Bass Island. I haven’t drank coffee in months but I was on vacation and I heard great things about The Grind. Anna, that made my coffee 2 days in a row, was super kind and helped me get a low calorie option. Jane went above and beyond in helping me during one visit.
