About Crystal Cave

Crystal Cave is a unique attraction featuring the world's largest geode and celestite crystal. Visitors descend steep stairs under the winery to find themselves inside an underground room surrounded by stunning pointed crystals. The cave is truly like nothing else, with ceilings and walls completely covered in crystals, creating an awe-inspiring sight. It is not a long, twisty cave to explore, but it offers a remarkable experience of stepping into an enormous geode. The tour is short but very cool, and visitors can walk around and stand inside the geode, enjoying the cool temperature inside. A section of the geode is on display at the Smithsonian Museum. The winery tour nearby provides insight into traditional wine-making and offers a sample, adding to the island vibes and history of the place.
