Nice little bar and restaurant place. Comfortable seating, friendly staff, nice little place. I got the walleye and fries basket and it was fantastic!! I was stuffed and couldn't finish all the fries.

I ordered the broghtwerst with pierogi, and the person I was with ordered the walleye with pierogi. The walleye was fried so it tasted like every other fried fish which was disappointing. The broghtwerst was good but the pierogi just tasted like cheap Mrs. T's pirogis just fried. Overall this place was extraordinarily disappointing. They did give Andes mints with the check though, unfortunately the highlight of the meal.

We came after Labor Day and during the week, so the island was quiet. We got excellent service and the food was AMAZING. Captain's Platter with Walleye, Perch, and fries. The breding was fantastic - light and flavorful. Great portion of both types of fish. Highly recommend.

Really went down since last year, perch dinner use to be random fresh perch curled slightly from frying like fresh, now commercial flat boards and fewer pcs...raise your price and bring back the quality...they forgot to put in order for son,so he never ate.....waitress thought she was being brilliant not writing order down....idk sad use to go here all the time...bring back fresh fish from old supplier.... fyi showed up early to fishbowl restaurant and was sent next door to Mossback island grill which they said was same operation....

Very slow service. We were the only ones in there eating and food took an hour to come. The server had no interest in his job. The actual food was pretty decent when it came.
