Adorable candy shop with a large selection of sugary treats to satisfy your heart's desire; service was friendly and attentive/quick but, unfortunately, the Americano was terrible.

We stopped in to The Candy Bar while we were checking out downtown Put-In-Bay and wow! Everything looked delicious. They had loads of your standard mass-produced candy but also had lots of homemade treats (fudge, rice crispy treats, truffles, etc) as well as some delicious coffee/expresso options. The staff was super friendly and patient with us, as we had 6 boys in tow who were a bit overwhelmed each picking something that they wanted to try. This is a great little candy/coffee...

The ice cream store part of this place is horribly bad. Not consistent. Don't pay attention to your order and overcharge.
We ordered three separate double scoops and they were all totally different sizes. One wasn't even a single scoop total. And they just laugh when you say something. And then it continued to happen to more customers after us.
