The Boathouse Bar and Grill

Hours posted are wrong. We came in on the last ferry at 6:30, looking forward to having dinner here . We looked up a bunch of restaurant options ahead of time. Many close early in the off-season apparently, but this one said it would be open. Walked there, hungry and ready for dinner, and it was closed. Bar portion was open, but no food available. Had to walk to other areas where of all the restaurants, there was literally only one food option.

Great outdoor patio, especially for large groups. We returned for a second year and had Mike as our waiter again. He did great managing the chaos of a big group and the food was perfect. The side salad was huge and fresh, the sausage flatbread was excellent, and the German platter could feed several people!

Food was good price of food was a bit high for the quality, bbq bacon chicken had caramelized onions on it that were not caramelized. Service was good they didn't hesitate to get your order in and bring the food out.

Ordered the turkey wrap with fries and it was absolutely delicious! It’s a big wrap with a lot of turkey, and the tomatoes tasted fresh and cold. Beautiful cross section! I wish I got a photo and I wish I could give it a 10.

Our waiter was very friendly and helpful with food choices. The food was great! I had a Walleye sandwich with homemade chips and French onion dip, sooooo good!!
We highly recommend it!

When we got in we got our seats outside so fast, got us two refreshing waters?which is amazing, not even 5 minutes they brought us refill of water and our cokes?, we got our order and I only got the fries ? because I wasn’t hungry not even under 20 minutes our food came, the waiters are so nice and chill and asked us the WiFi password which is very sweet of them! Although, this has been a great experience here would recommend here when we go on vacation again!❤️ 10/10!?

The perch sandwich and coleslaw were super tasty. Perfectly crunchy, lightly breaded, and not greasy. Mike, our server was the best we had on the island!

I wish I could tell you it has the best of anything, I wish I could tell you for the price you could get drinks in actual glasses, I wish I could tell you it's fancy but I don't want to lie. To say it's over priced for a burger you can not even order medium rare is an understatement, my hockey puck phenomenally sturdy. Just avoid unless you like the view.

This place is trash! I assumed because there were a lot of people here that the food was good- wrong!! Tastes like a bunch of frozen stuff and all Pepsi products ?? cheese in mozzarella sticks not real, burger tastes weird and pizza was doughy DONT WASTE YPUR

Fantastic food and a fun nautical theme. The boathouse can't be sunk!
