Great service and good food, I would avoid the torta was a lil underwhelming but definitely recommend the baja fish tacos 10/10

2nd time visit. Not near as busy as the first. Only us and another party on the patio, inside might had been a quarter full.
Sat for close to 20 minutes for first contact to get asked about drinks. Put drink and food order in. Not a bad 9 minutes for an order of nachos for two to share. The food runner from the kitchen, NOT our server, who brought to the table got our cash tip. His part of the evening was the best service we had.
Food was bland and wet. The nachos could not hold the toppings.
Eh, we don't need to go back unless the atmosphere is going to be the most important part of being out.
recently moved to the east side and decided to make it my mission to try all the new food places available to me. this was the first pick!
this is a pretty standard Mexican spot. you get a LOT of value for your money, with huge portions, fresh chips, and a wide drink selection. this is all backed up by attentive service that makes you feel like part of the family.
the birria tacos were delicious with the dip, but that Spanish rice was something else. we also got the loaded birria cheese fries and that was the main event. if you come here you HAVE to make sure to order them.
there are a lot of Mexican places on this side of town, and i plan on trying as many as i can. but cazuelas set a high bar. very impressed, we will be back!
The food is delicious … every time! The margaritas are the best I’ve found. And I can not speak highly enough of each and every person I’ve come into contact here. Exceptional and outstanding service by truly genuine, friendly, and professional people! The outdoor patio is unbeatable this time of year! I am so grateful to have found this hidden gem!

By far my favorite Mexican restaurant around! Delicious Margaritas literally the size if my head, and I’m obsessed with their asada fries and gorditas. Always a treat!

I went there tonight for dinner. I never received a menu after sitting there for 20 minutes, the waitress asked me if I wanted to eat something? I wanted to say this is a restaurant isn’t it? Isn’t that way most people come here ??
There was a couple large parties of Hispanic people, and I was the only white person, and I felt like I was getting completely ignored while they catered to the Hispanic customers. I’ve been there a couple times and never have I been treated like this, so I was dumbfounded. And the margarita wasn’t very good. I bought the commemorative cup and they filled it to the brim with ice. It’s supposed to be 32 ounces and I watched them pour less than 20 ounces in. Overall I was pretty disappointed in my experience. I’m not sure if I’ll be back and I really don’t think I could recommend this place. I hope that some of the 400,000 people who have looked at my pictures and reviews on Google read this. I hope the manager reads this.

3 of us just had lunch there. I generally test Mexican restaurants by ordering Carnitas Verde. Cazuelas was excellent. My plate, dinner size, was enormous. Carnitas came with pickled red onion, great add. Daughter had 2 enchiladas, they were great per her. My wife is allergic to onion, so she ordered a Create Your Own Burrito with grilled chicken. It was a huge burrito. Cazuelas has a diverse menu which lends itself to order customization. Visiting, but next time in Columbus will have to come back.
I had the pick 2 combo, chicken enchilada and the chili relleno. While everything was tasty, the sauces, the salsa and the refried beans were too wet for my liking. I prefer them a little thicker, but the flavor was very good.

What a disappointment! Can't rate the food, we never saw any. Waited thirty minutes for food. Eventually, the family seated 15 minutes after us was served. No apologies,no manager, just excuses. We walked.

After taking our order it took 2 hours to receive our food, I didn't eat any of my food since it wasnt correct and waiter just took it away without saying anything. They served like 4 tables that arrived after us and they left before we ever got our food. I understand it was a semi busy night since 1 table had like 20 people but food was cold on arrival and it just overall wasnt nice. The location in high st on/near campus does have more staff and are able to bring you your food on time.

I was staying nearby at the Holiday Inn last night and decided to walk over to Cazuelas.
I take my Mexican food seriously and was truly impressed by their delicious queso (homemade - perfectly spicy) and taco platter.
They also have a larger tap beer selection than most Mexican restaurants I've visited. I got a few local IPAs and they were great.
I would definitely come back and highly recommend that folks who are staying at the two hotels nearby stop in for food at Cazuelas.

One of the best Mexican Restaurants I've been to! I took a picture of the menu because there were so many good options to choose from. Can't wait to go back and try something new!
