Overall, this was a lovely experience. We came on a Sunday evening to celebrate a new job in the family and our server, Ben was awesome! The appetizers are amazing and there's plenty to share for the whole family. Highly recommend the drunken tots, poutine, and the cornbread to start. I loved my seasonal Fall cocktail, Grand Theft Autumn and they can make almost any drink a mocktail. The salads are full dinner size, so it can definitely be shared between two or three people. My entree, the Char Mac was absolutely decadent! So creamy, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I personally topped mine with short rib and their housemade bourbon barbeque glaze - you won't be disappointed! The whole party loved their food and drinks - we will definitely be back.

PS. On Sundays, they have all day happy hour and the apps and drinks are all $3 off with the exception of brunch drinks.

I'm not sure what I expected here, but it's my new favorite place. The Char Burger is definitely the best burger I've ever had. I had the second half the next day at home and it was just as delicious. Service was very good on a busy night. Ambiance was very cozy and warm. I didn't stop talking about the burger all weekend, though. So. Delicious. I'll be back to check out the cocktails with my next burger. Absolutely worth a visit!

We came here for dinner on a Thursday evening, and the place was nearly empty except for quite a few people at the bar watching the game.

This place has a great drink list, and the food selections cover everything from soups, salads, small plates, and entrees.

We ordered the beet salad, seafood chowder, Char burger, & lobster rolls.
The beet salad had a good amount of greens, beets ,olives, nuts, onions, and goat cheese, which made it flavorful.

The chowder had a good bit of seafood and was tasty but was too cold for my liking. The lobster rolls had too much bread on them but had a good taste.

I ordered the Char burger with fries. The burger was juicy and very flavorful. The fries, on the other hand, were way overdone. The burger and fries also came out a little too cool for my liking.

As for the service, it was not that great. The server was pleasant and friendly enough. But that is where it stops. We got our drinks and apps ordered, but we had 2 more people join our party and waited over 15 minutes for her to come back around to our table after the initial order.

The food came out at a decent amount of time, and we were going to order more drinks as well, but the server came back so long after we got our meals delivered, that we gave up. When she did come back, I ordered a coffee, but I wish I hadn't. It took 15 minutes and I was sure she had forgotten, but alas it came. She brought it over and apologized for the weak coffee. She told me she was making another pot and won't charge me for the coffee.

When the bills came out, they were pretty messed up with our table of 6. She needed to come back a couple of times to get it correct. The slowness really seemed to be confusing to me with so little patrons in the restaurant.

Although this experience was disappointing, the drinks were good enough, so it won't keep us from coming back for a second try sometime in the future.

Parking: I was lucky to find a spot when someone pulled out.

I stopped in over the summer with my sister for lunch and we were so glad we did, food was absolutely amazing! I told my boyfriend after we have to go there, it is so good! Took him yesterday for his birthday, we are both still talking about it today. He told me he told multiple people at work about it and has been thinking about your cannolis all day and I have been too, best I've ever had. Ever single thing from cocktails to dessert to atmosphere is absolutely amazing, I, we cannot brag about you guys enough! Classy cocktail menu, the char sour and classic old fashioned are a must try. You're selection of bourbon for bourbon lovers is top notch too! Last the food, beet salad, lobster rolls, cassoulet pie are to die for 🤌 have to talk about the cannolis again, one pistachio and one chocolate chip, don't snooze on those if you go! My biggest compliments to the chef. We will definitely be back.

Atmosphere, service and food was really good! Will be going back again. Food prices are a bit on the higher side — so probably more a special occasion place instead of a normal date night.
The new system for checkout ( a handheld device) wasn’t working very well and declined my credit card . Had to use an alternate card . Called my credit card company to make sure it wasn’t on my end & they stated it wasn’t . Overall , still a great experience. Went on a Thursday evening — so it wasn’t crowded — but would anticipate a larger crowd on the weekend .

First: cocktails. The main menu of cocktails has a delicious mix of options and their seasonal specials are well thought. Food: delicious. They have the best French onion soup and deviled eggs, among their amazing entree options. Icing on the cake: Sunday all day happy hour.
