Giant Eagle Supermarket

I am 70 years old and a store clerk insisted on scanning my drivers license for an alcohol purchase. According to what I read this is very dangerous in that the license gives access to personal information. GE could sell my info OR get hacked. I will no longer shop at this store.

Purchased Tropicana Watermelon Juice it tasted strange the label indicates it is almost a month past its prime maybe that's why the manager put it on sale!?!? check the dates, obviously management will only put it on sale! Purchase date 12/18/21

Amazing employee's having plenty of patience with customers on their incredibly busy days. They over achieve even being as under staffed as they are.They let a lot of staff go because of their pay being so lowDoesn't take covid seriously(Van I see you)

Excellent range of items in all departments. Prices seemed good to me. The cart was easy to push and had just been sanitised before I used it.

We bought a lot of waters and the women had to check out all of them and was very polite while doing it. Also have self check out The staff always helps if there’s a problem and they’re very fast they’re doing it.

Apparently there's a dress code to go shopping here, I went shopping on Saturday afternoon and no one helped me bag my groceries but then an employee came running over to help the couple ( 2 ) bag their groceries!?! That's discrimination, I guess I'll start shopping at heinen's. Maybe even Walmart.

bakery dept ?not friendly & the woman who takes the orders doesnt seen like she knows what shes doing everytime i go there .its always busy yet theres only a few registers open . the lanes that are open youre lucky to get a friendly worker ? .always friendly service at customer service though ! ? everytime they go out their way for you !!!& the store itself is large , better than in my smaller city GE .

Will in the meat department has terrible customer service. When I asked him the price of the lobster he said I don't know I don't even know how to find that out. My question to you is then why are you working there!? If you need seafood or meat save yourself a trip and go to another store.

I really like this store. Great selection of produce, cheeses, bakery section is in strange place, but it all looks good. My only complaint would be that one of the things I specifically went for —-there was none, or hadn’t been refilled yet. But I got everything I went in for and the cashier was great.

I always shop at giant eagles in rocky river. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The store is always clean. The fruit, vegetables and meat departments are wonderful. I especially like the precooked meals, which I'm have cabbage rolls tonight. Keep up the good work.

Their method of sanitizing carts is to simply tap the handles of the carts without spraying any sanitizer on the carts or the cloth they were using. They really need to teach their employees the proper method of sanitizing the carts that their customers will be using.

I waited on the phone for 10 minutes for bakery to answer phone had to hang up and call back.A male employee answered the phone I asked if I had to special order a tray of cannolis for a party.He then proceeded to ask me if I had a cannoli.what a idiot.Suggestion order from another bakery.

I’ve typically shopped at this store. But the last 5 times I’ve been there. The store has been a mess, not enough cashiers, and the shelves aren’t stocked.
