What brought me here?
The teddy bear made of ice …
But When I got here I realized it’s An amazing shop that sells amazing flavored lattes ☕️ gelato 🍧 deliciosss strawberry 🍓 boba 🧋 tea with the cute but cold 🧸 and some gourmet breakfast and lunch options. The ladies were so kind as my princess would say. It was a classy area with plenty of free parking . It was just steps away from many restaurants and shops . It was also a gorgeous day and I Bet it’s even more gorgeous in the winter time. Something tells me their winter lattes etc. would be craved by many.

This is such a cute little hidden gem! We go two bobas that were absolutely delicious and made with wonderful ingredients! The bears were such a cute touch and just made it so special. Recommend a stop in if you’re from out of town

I ordered a limoncello mascarpone cake slice, after 15 min waiting they gave me this… a piece of frozen cake in a container, she told me “wait 5 min to eat it”
Bad experience.
Really bad service and bad drinks too.

Regarding your answer:
We never move the fan that you said.
He just seat in those seats because two persons was seat there first we didn’t know anything about that space was closed.
We didn’t know that you opened just for someone that was breastfeeding. We didn’t get mad when you ask us to seat outside. I told you. We totally understand and I said sorry too.
First, I ask for my dads drink and you gave me a different drink for him and it wasn’t ok, but he drink it anyway.
Second, the person that take the order never told us about the frozen cake. I think that is important inform the costumers about that small details because no all the costumers are regular. We never saw on the menu that you have that you just sell frozen food.
Third, she gave me the cake just in a container , without any bag, spoon and the container was dirty with something different than the cake. Is supposed to be that way ?
I never rush you for the order or be rude with you or anybody in your store, I waited until you finish with the previous order.
Pay attention to the details in your service and the way you talk to the costumers, you wasn’t kind went you told us about the closed area and we didn’t know about it, A person was crossing the same space we crossed and nobody same anything about a closed space. How can we know that area was closed if we saw some people seat there?

Love this place and the owner is so kind! She is cooking in the back and taking orders so it may be a little wait but after you taste the food you will see it is well worth it! Our favorite as a family is the Pho! Best I have ever had! Also we love the Boba and other drinks as well!

After a bridal shower with friends and their kids, we stumbled upon this hidden gem in rocky river, initially drawn in by the promise of ice cream. The selection was fantastic, especially for us Sandusky natives who are always thrilled to see Toft's ice cream! They even had my all time favorite, Bananas Foster, which is a rare find ( i could never find it anywhere in stores) . The lady behind the counter was incredibly sweet, sharing the heartwarming story of how her kids started the restaurant but her daughter was absolutely phenomenal, she served us right away and knew the answer to all of our questions, she was awesome with the kids and had one of the best customer service experiences we have had in a long time. We ended up trying their boba teas and grabbing some food to go, and everything was delicious. What truly sets this place apart is the combination of homemade, fresh food and outstanding customer service. It's a rare find, and we're already planning to make it a weekly stop!

Was disappointed, sign says they carry Tofts ice cream, they do not. Air conditioning apparently was broke, nothing like a hot ice cream shop. And of course no public bathroom because owner is tired of people destroying it
Also felt like the owner was preoccupied and really didn’t feel like taking care of customers. Sorry won’t be back

Carlitta & her family have contributed an eclectic & wholesome bistro to Old River, featuring a rotating variety of thoughtfully curated dishes and independent creator gifts. She is truly your friend upon entry, inviting me to use her outdoor black iron tables for studying during the summer. This is a gem of an establishment nestled away that calls to me from time to time. I’ll surely be back for more visits and homemade, quality ingredient dishes, because that’s Carlitta’s standard!

Review based on June 2023 visit: I have to say I'm a little nervous to write this review as I have seen on Google that the owner doesn't take negative news very well. But here goes.

My husband and I stopped in to get coffee and breakfast for his birthday - we have never been and like trying new to us places.
I was quite frankly confused by the whole place Java is in its name, but it seemed like Java was one of the last things that was on the worker's (I think it may have been the owner) mind. As the Java was already premade and all she did was add pump syrup to it!
But anyway, it was fine.
We also ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches (to go)
Our total bill for 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches was around $44 - I don't know exactly, as I didn't get a receipt. But I did question the prices as I thought it was a bit high. Our bacon egg and cheese sandwiches were $15 each, coffee was $5 each. I think there may have been an up charge on the GF bagel to make up the difference. Honestly, it was my husband's birthday so I didn't really pay attention to the pricing.

So food/drinks were ok. The croissant itself, which was homemade, was delicious!
The store itself was a little schizophrenic - a little bit of everything, handwritten signs, furniture having all different kinds of chairs and what not, backwards signs. And seems like they made a little bit of everything food wise too, I saw Indian, Lebanese, Vietnamese, and Italian foods there. But NO VANILLA LATTE - in a JAVA bistro ha ha ha.

Here's where I think it fell off the rails for me: the owner was REALLY REALLY pushing her Pho and meatballs, AND........also unsolicited was giving me weight loss tips, She was telling me about intermittent fasting and healthy eating, etc. I felt very uncomfortable at this point and couldn't wait to get out of there.

Placed an order, got here and they were closed even though they said they were open on Google, drove half an hour for no reason.
(Edit)
The order was placed through door dash at 7:57, it said you guys closed on Google at 9, that’s what I meant. I got there and all the lights were off and door closed.
