Mellow Mushroom Rocky River

Mellow Mushroom is an excellent place to get some delicious pizza and a refreshing beer on the tap.
We had the Holy Shiitake pizza and it did not disappoint: the vegan cheese was cheesy and stretchy without being gummy and sticky, and the grilled shiitake had the texture and chewiness of steak (I think!). The crust was light and crispy and chewy, all just the right amount. The wine thing was super tasty.

We also had the “cheesy” bread appetizer - personally, I did not care for it. It tasted too much like school cafeteria food to me, but it was a success with everyone else at the table, so it must have been just me.

The atmosphere is kind of funky with big art deco pictures and murals. I like that the dining area is big and airy room so everyone is not stuffed in their elbow to elbow.
It was a good outing!

I just moved to Ohio recently from Florida and i used to go to the Mellow Mushrooms in Florida all the time so me and my boyfriend drove an hour (Rocky River is the closest one too us) to this location for our anniversary. The food was honestly way way better than I remember it being and our server Jordan was absolutely amazing! She was so attentive and friendly and overall just made our experience so good! She alone made the hour drive worth it!!

I ordered the large pepperoni pizza with sausage and mild buffalo wings and a smash burger! All delicious 😋 pizza had more crust than pizza but was still a 7/10!!

Being from the south, I have always enjoyed Mellow Mushroom. I didn't realize there was one in Ohio, so I was thrilled when a friend suggested this place for dinner. I had a calazone with black olives (my staple order), and it was quality. Then we also ordered a meaty pizza with black olives. I had the pizza as leftovers and it was tasty. The staff was prompt and courteous.

Ordered through Uber eats. Took a very long time. Poor delivery driver had to wait forever. Pizza and wings were good. Paid extra for chicken on my salad and chicken and jalapeños in the calzone, but neither happened. $125 and I'm thinking it's not worth it.

We ordered take-out via their website, when I arrived to pick it up there was a mistake made and our order was given to a Door Dash courier. They apologized and asked if I had time to wait for them to remake our meal, which I did. They offered me a beverage while I waited and immediately jumped on getting our order going. I was nervous that it was going to be rushed and the quality would suffer but that wasn't the case. I wish I would've thought to ask the name of the man who helped me, he was wonderful. He was very kind, apologetic, and thorough in presenting the fresh order to me to show me that everything was correct and all of our sauces were there. It all looked great (and tasted amazing as always). He also was kind enough to give us credit toward a future order and threw in an extra sauce. I was very happy with the way the mistake was handled, we are all human and it happens. It was also not necessarily a bad thing to get the food that fresh out of the oven 😆 Thank you to whoever you were that took care of me

Their pizza is like no other! The price is worth the flavor and the effort put into their pizzas. The service is always good and the overall atmosphere of this place is unmatched. Love the unique art, you can tell someone put a lot of creativity and thought into the space. We have been here numerous times- our first visit to Mellow Mushroom was actually in Gatlinburg, TN. So when we found out there was one in Rocky River, we were very pleasantly surprised! We will be back!

I absolutely love this restaurant! Cool vibe, great music, the food is excellent and Ive always gotten great service! Ive ordered food via delivery...it was excellent. I've visited during lunch and my friend and I ordered their $9.95 lunch special; which we chose a slice of pizza, salad and a drink (refills free) is included. The slice of pizza was large. Lunch was filling and recommended. My daughter and I happened to stop in on a Tuesday night and it was Trivia Tuesday. What fun! The DJ/trivia host was so fun and engaging. The music was classic 70's, 80's and 90's. Food was excelkent once again and the service was stellar. Great evening. I highky recommend Mellow Mushroom day, night or by delivery. 😉

Better pizza at whole foods down the street. Service is kinda slow as it seems one server lords over others. But the worst is their water. Its really really bad. The server told me it was tap water. But if thats this towns tap water everyone would move. This water was so bad it reminded me of the first sips off a warm garden hose who's water had been sitting inside the hose all winter long.

Avoid this place, thank me later.

The pizza, as I said is better at the prep food section of whole foods, probably hotter too.

Nobody working here seemed happy to be there. So I imagine the real issue is with the management.

One odd, off brand thing, at the entry is a chucky statue with toothpicks. Odd choice of decore, certainly not kid friendly but gore in a food establishment is off-putting
