I would give this place 5 stars if I could! We went for my birthday dinner and it was a great experience. They have a whole vegan menu and large portion sizes! Our waitress was wonderful too. We got the French Onion soup (which I’d literally never had before bc I’ve never found a place that had a vegan one), the blackened tofu Tartine, the Brussel sprouts, the vegan steak entree and a pb, chocolate, caramel dessert! Also, we ordered a side of the wild mushrooms and they were to die for! Everything was delicious and we had leftovers to take home too. Can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in town!

We were very happy to find a restaurant that offers a large selection of vegan options that are not the typical Mediterranean or Asian fare. The bistro is located in a quaint area off of Detroit Ave. The atmosphere was charming and the service was excellent.
We shared several dishes on our visit so we could sample several options. Needless to say, we had leftovers to take home. The potato leek soup was okay. The presentation was beautiful! It had a very distinct flavor that my husband enjoyed more than I did. The lentil cakes were just okay as well, but the arugula salad that came with it was very good.
We tried two different tartines - blackened tofu and the Mushroom French dip. They were both delicious. The bread on these open faced sandwiches was cooked perfectly and the flavors were really good.
Of course we had to try dessert. Tonight’s feature was a chocolate torte that was amazing!!
Looking forward to another visit so we can try other menu items.

I really enjoy it here. Their vegan menu is delicious and they are accommodating to vegetarians as well. The atmosphere is very lovely and can give romantic vibes. Our server was very kind and knowledgeable. Not complaining about the half off bottle of champagne as well when I went on Wednesday!! I will continue coming back here :)

Had a very enjoyable meal the other night. The server was excellent, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was great (although too cold for the patio) and the wine list was spectacular.
The tartines and pizza were just perfect, and were well complemented by a French wine and splitting a Beet salad.
Restaurant was bust for a Saturday night, but it was not loud and we could enjoy our conversation. Definitely a place to visit when in the area.

Had my birthday dinner here and oh my GOSH - it was phenomenal. The staff was friendly, the food was beyond good, service is quick, and it a calm and vibey atmosphere. The food is a little on the pricier side but well worth the money. I will definitely be retuning!

Brunch was nice. I've been to Tartine several times before, but I've never had brunch there until today.
We started off with the roasted dates with blackberry goat cheese(chevre) and pork belly. It was very tasty, and we loved the combination. I was only disappointed by the lack of pork belly. There were too many dates. I loved them better when it was stuffed.
The crepes were delicious, but not enough gruyere to know it was there. The hashbrowns were great and loved they were not greasy.
The bistro breakfast was good. The poached eggs were perfect. There is not very many gluten-free options, so this was pretty much it. I can't expect them to know how to do GF crepes like Crepes in the City.
