“The Newark hub is a really nice place. There is an excellent bartenders there. I would go there anytime I come into Newark the best bartender there the one that was really nice. Her name was Arlene. She is the nicest person I’ve ever met. They have wonderful food there I played a nice game of pool anyone Looking for a nice bar to have a drink and shoot a game of pool and meet some really nice people. Please come to the Newark hub bar on W. Church St. in Newark. It is a really nice place.“

“I stayed at the DoubleTree which is attached to the restaurant. I did carry-out. I got the meatloaf griller with Parmesan herb fries and brussel sprouts. They were all very delicious. I topped off my meal with a piece of their carrot cake. The carrot cake had caramel drizzle and whipped cream with a candied pecan on top. It was very rich! I spent $34 on the meal.The restaurant itself is a bar style set up with a few booths.There is a Starbucks attached to the hotel as well.“

“I've been to 2 company events here. If I lived locally I might be here more often. It's an outdoor hangout with games, tables, and sand volley ball available. They turn out decent food at a decent speed for the space they're working with.“

“My husband and I love sitting at the bar in The Tavern. Unfortunately, it has been a different atmosphere the last few times. The new bartender is unfriendly and seems to be annoyed by customers. A bartender can make or break an experience. They are the center and set the tone for everyone, even the servers. Since we were there for dinner and drinks, we chose to leave the bar and move to patio. Cacelia was our server and was fantastic. Her sweet smile and friendly attitude is EXACTLY what The Tavern needs. We’ve spoken to many patrons who echo our concern.“
