Had the shrimp basket one night and it was very good. Tonight I had a Reuben and it had very little sauerkraut and no thousand Island dressing. Disappointed tonight.

I don’t ever write reviews, but our experience was just bad.. Our server was very nice, But our food was awful and we could not finish our meals. I’m not sure how a burger could be so bland and bad tasting at the same time. We tried the blackened shrimp tacos the shrimp appeared to be those tiny canned shrimp. It was very tough, fishy, and bland. The only thing we were able to eat were some tater tots, and the fries that came with the burger. We didn’t even touch anything else. We will never be returning.

We had to wait a while to get our order taken but the dinner came quickly. The fried chicken was good. The ribeye I ordered was cooked a perfect medium but it was thin and tough with large chunks of fat. It was so hard to chew I couldn't finish it.

Ordered the $10 Panko Fish sandwich with fries. Requested no cheese or sauce, just the fish and bacon only. Got the order and the sandwich had everything. Repeated twice to the waitress just fish with bacon only and sent it back. Got the second order and it still had the sauce and didn’t get any fries. Told waitress to just cancel my order since my husband was already done eating. When she brought out bill, waitress told me to just order the regular menu fish and add bacon to it next time which I’m sure would cost more than the price of the special. I was pretty nice up until that. Not now. Guess her mistake taking my order three times repeated was now my mistake! Did t even offer a comp or anything. Just basically it was my fault on how I ordered! Bacon only. How hard is that! We’ll stick with Mikes Penn Grille!

Our food was not hot, but our waitress was wonderful.
This place is such a cute small town vibe, but nothing about the food is down played. The pictures truly don't do this Salem, OH fan favorite justice. The flavor was impeccable & portion sizes were adequate. I had the turkey pot pie (a seasonal item) that was to die for! The Italian sausage sandwich was hearty & delicious while the fried pickles were the perfect bite each time: they got an 8 on my personal fried pickle rating - which is pretty darn good.

I've had great food in the past.....unfortunately, however, we went for the crabfest that was advertised on Facebook and was very disappointed in the crab Mac n cheese that was made with imitation crab meat........WHY, JUST WHY?

Went for the steak dinner posted on Facebook. We sat down because the sign said seat yourself. Sat at a booth for 25 mins, no one came over. Another guy walked in after us and got served before us.
