Last night was my first visit to listen to a friend's band. Despite the cool, damp, and drizzling weather, there was a good crowd inside. They have a tent beside the bar for outdoor guests, and a group was huddled under the tent. The food choices were plenty with burgers, chicken, fish, pizza, appetizers, which all turned out to be quite tasty! Drinks were on the pricy side but they were good. The music was great, just no dance floor since it was full. Staff was very friendIy, but we had to flag down our person to place an order. I realize she was busy but we had sat a while waiting. I will return to see my friend's band when it is hopefully not raining.

Great beer, great food, and a great atmosphere. The owner greeted us at our table and helped us out with a travel issue that went well beyond just taking care of our food and drink. I can’t wait to go back. Make sure you visit this place.

The Spicy Sandusky, BLT, pepperoni pizza, cheese curds, and beer are all excellent! We always stop here when in town and it doesn’t disappoint.

We used to love coming here, but recently it's gone way downhill. The food has changed and the quality is not what it used to be. The service isn't great either and they took away Thursday night trivia.

My wife and I have been going to the Bait House for several years, and we always enjoy Trivia Night with our team of family & friends. Always a good time with a nice beer selection and menu and friendly atmosphere. Just last week, updated menus were introduced, and the food was even better than normal (hand cut fries -- awesome!!). All of the wait staff is great, but Ms.Arika always goes the extra mile. She goes out of her way to make us all feel welcome and always provides outstanding service, every time we are there. Great place and highly recommended

Came in on a dead night sat down before a table and still didn’t have food when said table had left. Ordered came out two at a time for 5 people. And a grilled cheese took over an hour and a half to come out. The food was not very good. I would not recommend out of all good places in downtown Sandusky this is not one of them. Service is slow and not good food.

Their own beer was not very good. Even worse, we ordered a perch sandwich which tasted very fishy. When we mentioned this to our bartender, she even said she could smell it. Did she take the sandwich off our bill? Or offer us a discount? No. We will not be back.
