My overall review of this restaurant is due to sewer smell at our table. The service was very good and the drinks, the margarita infusion was delicious. We also loved the corn chowder and the main dishes. My question is to why we were seated at a table with such an overwhelming odor. We mentioned it to our server and it seems it's been a problem. Also a review 2 weeks ago mentioned the smell. I wish I had read it before we went today.

Service was good; however, the food was just average and very bland. Thank goodness for the tray of hot sauces!The main reason for the low rating was the atmosphere. While sitting at the corner table, near the restroom, there was a very strong sewer smell. We mentioned this to the server and apparently management knew of the issue. This explains why the corner table was the only table in the restaurant with a lit scented candle in an attempt to mask the smell. With that said, why do you choose to expose your customers to a toxic gas from the sewer pipe? In fact, one of my family members came down with a severe headache at your restaurant. This was the first time and last time coming to your establishment.
Good place, good drinks, good atmosphere, wasn't my type of food personally though. I don't think that the value matched the price though.

My son drug me out of the house for dinner.He been drinking and a little tipsie, we both decided to go to a bar sit down serving place! We walk in and sat down..cute setup only four people sitting at the bar...and I see about six people working...or at least behide the bar. We were eventually greeted by a server with water and menues..the menus were sorta confusing to read...and the prices were not visible on the menu. WELL we been sitting looking at the menue No one taking our order..well the one server forget she switch roles being a bar tender to a server with the one that gave us the ice water??????Excuse me not enough customers in the place to be confused..The food was great...a little pricey..Except I had a nat flying above my food..gross!!! Our server was more concerned being being behind the bar then being attentive waitress.
Really great cauliflower should have ordered an other order. Changed up the pork taco had the fperch taco toppings..

I regularly get the steak salad and it is terrific. Today, there was about 50% less steak on it. The steak was over cooked and not seasoned. Very disappointing. I hope they have not cut portion size and quality to save money.

Food ok-seating was real cramped. Felt like we we eating with the next table -some outside seating but not really set up for it. Upstairs bar nice but steep staircase that left you crawling to the top.

Barra is such a great place to eat tacos and drink Margheritas! This place has a good atmosphere and the service is fantastic. The food doesn't take long to come out so I go often for lunch. They like to put up new specials of tacos and Margheritas all the time. Today was a hibachi taco and peach cider Margherita. Both are fantastic. They also have a bar upstairs called Ariba where they sometimes have live music. Great place to check out.
