We were on a WEEKEND TO REMEMBER trip in Kalahari Sandusky and we were supposed to go on a date night so we chose Bay Harbor just because it made us remember one of our dates by the sea. Kalahari was just 17 minute's away and Bay Harbor looked like a lovely place. 🍂WE WERE SO THRILLED. Food (cocktails, appetizers, entrees, ) was delicious, service, amazing,(the young lady that shoots us some pictures was exceptional) ambiance, amazing. The sunset gave out an imaginable reflect with the boats on the water. We enjoyed dinner it was just a perfect date night.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Nice quiet place to get food outside of the park but within walking distance. Bang Bang shrimp was soooo good.

Their restaurant is in Cedar Point Amusement park. You pay for parking through Cedar Point and then they will reimburse you on your bill. But they need to make it more clear they're parking is behind a gate that they give you a code to when you pay for the parking. Also baked potatoes were not cooked all the way through food took one hour exactly to come out to us

We come here every year to meet friends and we are never disappointed. This year was especially wonderful because of our waitress, Kitanna (I'm not sure of the spelling). She was not only a staff member but also a friend. She deserves a raise!

Overall, it was a great experience. We received great service. My son's filet steak was overcooked, unfortunately, but they did offer to remake it. The rest of us enjoyed our food very much.

I've been in Food and Beverage for over 20 years and to say our experience was unpleasant is an understatement! I completely understand as a server being overwhelmed and I also know that kitchens can get behind in service. However, what I can't understand is how so many things can go so horribly wrong without the slightest sense of knowledge from the staff or even sense of care. Hospitality is not a practice at this restaurant, especially with their “manager” - aka shift lead, who I requested to speak with prior to leaving to help offer some growth opportunities for the future. As the manager approached me he stated that he already had changed out of his manager clothing. As I proceeded to inform him of the hour and a half wait time for our food, that the food was cold with multiple items missing/never brought, and how our table went without water throughout the majority of the meal, he seemed as if this was the norm. He gave a simple “I'm sorry” and offered 10% off. I was grateful for his time and went to sit back at the table. When the bill came we simply put our card down and the manager ran the card. However to our surprise he ran the card for over double what was due, swiping the card for another table. Now money in our debit account is held over the holiday weekend double what the bill was plus the actual charge for the extremely disappointing meal. As a leader I could not imagine assisting concerned guests with the same attitude, derision, and over all incompetence as we experienced tonight. We will never return.

I've not been there before. It was nice. The ladies I was with were thrilled with the drinks and the staff. Next time we're in town, we will definitely go back. T

Dinner at sunset on the patio. Blackened grouper wonderful as always. Very attentive service. Excellent rumrunner drink. Made like they do in florida.

I've had much better experiences at this restaurant in the past.. Our waitress kept forgetting everything. My husband's fillet was rare he ordered it medium my daughter's steak was fried burnt so hard ... it didn't even look like steak anymore. My lobster was sub par but I ate it cause I was starving.. A real disappointment as I've been here several times.. My suggestion is to hire an actual chef who can cook a fillet !!!

Once we were seated it took over 15 minutes for us to even be acknowledged by any of the staff. After we received our water it took another 10 minutes at least for the waitress to come over and even introduce herself to us. Then it took even longer for someone to bring my husband's drink from the bar. It was well over an hour before we ever received our food. Then, my husband didn't get it baked potato after all that waiting. They took the baked potato off the bill, but didn't offer any kind of discount for making us wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for our dinner. They did however offer free desert to go, but it took another 15 minutes to get that. With all of this going on, you would have thought the manager would have been going around to each table, but not one time did the manager check on us. We spent a lot of money on my birthday dinner and it turned out to be a waste of our time and money.

The steak was cooked incorrectly but flavored well. The shrimp was overcooked and chewy. The scallops could have been seared better. The risotto was more like rice with cheese and not risotto. The bisque was like broth and cream with separated oil on top. Not worth the value and small portions.

Our food and service was perfect, as always. We had a wonderful bottle of wine & delicious king crab legs to celebrate our anniversary! This is our favorite restaurant. NEVER a bad experience. Jeri

Bread, soups and salad were good. Service was fair at best. She forgot our drinks and never cleared the table. Dinner was subpar. It may be worth having a couple of drinks outside on the water but I wouldn't go there for dinner.

We loved this restaurant so much that we made reservations for the next day. The service is outstanding with Cathy (Kathy?) particularly good. After serving our salads she asked us (we didn't have to ask her) to let her know when it would be ok to put in the order for our entrees - so we wouldn't feel rushed. I had the perch which was a major disappointment because the breading on the fish was very thick and I needed to saw through it to get to the fish. The tenderloin filet was tender and great for my husband and prepared to the proper temp. (I ordered that the next day.). The sides were good with my husband really enjoying the risotto. The restaurant is pretty and comfortable and our booth overlooked one of the many marinas on Cedar Point. It is pricey, but then we have come to expect that from high end restaurants. All in all they were two wonderful experiences!

It was decent food but for a place that is $345 for five people the food was nothing special ,we have been here serval times as it is nice to bring the boat over and dock here, but the food has slipped a little bit IMO plus for a nicer restaurant the dress code should be a little bit more people coming to eat in bathing suits and tank tops does not say much about the dining experience and I know being tied to an amusement park that could be expected but don't advertise as a fine dining option
