UPDATE: The company responded to my review in a timely manner and was very apologetic. My concerns were taken seriously, without making excuses. I was given a full refund. I will give this store another try in the future. I ordered Thanksgiving food so I could enjoy more of the holiday. I am so disappointed. I paid for curbside pick up. I called when I got there at my scheduled time and was put on hold… for 20 minutes! I had to go inside and wait again in a line. I ordered family size sides. I got not filled plastic containers that will not feed a family. Half of the rolls are stuck together and hard. The biscuits are over baked and hard. I had to go the grocery store and get more food. Now I’m cooking last minute. And I paid $130 for this! The Mac and cheese curdled soup. The first two pics are some of what I ordered … the rest are what I got.

The serving staff are simply extraordinary. Every server we have encountered is friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to providing a seamless experience. They manage the dining room with impressive efficiency, ensuring orders are accurate, delivered promptly, and served with a smile. Even during busy periods, they remain patient, approachable, and incredibly professional. Their warmth and dedication create an atmosphere that makes every visit memorable.
The food itself is consistently superb. Every dish we’ve ordered, from fluffy pancakes to hearty skillets, fresh eggs, and savory sides, has been flavorful, hot, and perfectly cooked. Portions are super generous and you can tell that care goes into every plate. The kitchen staff deserve high praise for their speed, precision, and consistent quality, which makes the entire dining experience feel polished and reliable.
That said, there is one ongoing issue that cannot go unmentioned. The young lady at the till has consistently displays a lack of basic customer courtesy. On every visit, she has never offered even a brief smile, seems preoccupied with her phone, and often shouts instructions to the kitchen staff rather than engaging professionally. It is particularly disappointing because this behavior contrasts so sharply with the rest of the team’s professionalism and warmth. For a loyal customer who visits frequently, it’s disheartening to see that this persistent behavior has gone uncorrected. While the rest of the staff excels, her attitude remains a noticeable blemish on an otherwise outstanding experience.
In summary, Bob Evans Sandusky continues to impress with its delicious food, welcoming ambiance, and exceptional service from the majority of the team. The only area that requires serious attention is the till attendant’s behavior, which, if addressed, would elevate an already superb dining experience to flawless. Despite this, we continue to return because the overall excellence far outweighs this single negative.

Husband and I went for breakfast. Sausage was burnt and French toast wasn’t cooked all the way. Husband asked for a refill on his orange juice and waitress never brought it. I ended up asking the young man who was seating people for a refill. He was very nice and helpful! Waitress wasn’t good!

The best breakfast in the Sandusky area. Its a great way to start your day or a busy weekend around town. The food is definitely farm fresh and the staff treats u like family. I just love it there.
Bob Evans is never the place I think of when I want to get food from past experiences. But me and my family thought why not give it another shot! Man did it not disappoint this time! Our server AK was such a delight. Her attentiveness and manners was a breath of fresh air. She was very helpful and my child who doesn't like anyone was even fond of her. After that visit I will definitely be back, not only for the food but to definitely request AK again!

No one in the kitchen wears hair nets. Most the cooks have long hair or beards. I found a 6 inch black wirey hair in omelette. It was completely repulsive and this branch does not follow health code standards and no one seems to give a crap.
