Our family found while staying in Sandusky a few weeks ago. Food was PHENOMENAL and the staff were so friendly and kind. I look forward getting to try them again when we come again in the summer!Parking: They have a lot plenty of spaces and a smooth path for pick ups :)

When I visit my family in Sandusky we always (try) to get Capizzi's Joey's Hot Wing Pizza but we're lucky to get them to pick up the phone to place an order. That's happened three times over the past few months. There's no online oder option on their website either. Good pizza but inefficient. Maybe you'll get lucky.

Small pizza place, a few tables inside and out. Stopped in for takeout, Cobb Salad and Meatball Marinara appetizer. Both very good. Really liked how the salad was a chop salad, different than your typical Cobb, but very good and easy to eat. Meatballs were good, marinara was tasty and they had melted mozz on top, 4 for $9.

After a long and noisy day at the water park, this was a nice evening meal! The food was good, the atmosphere relaxing, and the Capizzi family is very friendly! Very well done Capizzi’s!

I ordered 2 cobb salads, and they were delicious for take-out. The service was excellent, the worker was very nice, and it was a cute atmosphere. When my wife and I are visiting, we try to stay away from chain restaurants and look for unique named places. I'll bring my wife next time. It was a uniquely decorated place.

My family and I rode our bikes to capizzis to get ice cream the other day. Unfortunately they were closed due to catering an event, so we decided to go to the gas station across the street to get snacks, and return to eat them outside at capizzis. Out of the middle of nowhere, the owners came out and tanked us for stopping by (even though they were closed) and apologized about not being open. To top it all off, they GAVE US AN ENTIRE BOX OF MANUELLAS COOKIES as an apology! In a day and age where I was worried they would be upset or kick us off the property, they welcomed us, thanked us, and even apologized for not being able to serve us. We've been coming here for pizza and ice cream for years and the food and service is always superb, but this time was even above and beyond that. Business owners take note; This is small business done right.

Got ice cream and pizza here and all I have to say is that if I lived in the area and not out of state I would definitely come here a lot. Their ice cream was good and large specialty pizzas were $20 which is amazing due to the fact most places charge wayyyy over that for a specialty large pizza. If you are near this place please go get some pizza from here. The prices are VERY reasonable and that's refreshing to see.

Not sure where these previous pics are from but it's not anything like the real product received. This could have been a good pizza. However the toppings are so minced that you never pick up their flavor. I greatly struggled to even locate the sausage I made numerous attempts. The mushrooms were all 1 to 2 gram pieces yielding no flavor. The art of pizza is a blend of flavors the toppings create. I may as well have ordered a cheese pizza. I would have gladly paid 15% more and had normal toppings.

The cutest little pizza shop!! Decor was so cute and pizza was very good! BBQ chicken pizza and Italian salad is amazing! Also found out they do breakfast and serve coffee and ice cream! Will definitely be back.

Look no further, you have found THE place to go. Especially, if you're visiting from out of town.I cannot say enough about this establishment. We had originally had plans to go to another place but that fell through. Boy, am I happy it did! These are the types of places that everyone should seek out when visiting from out of town. We arrived at 7:00 p.m. and they close at 8:00 p.m. We ordered two pizzas and drinks. We had the small Hawaiian and a medium "Emilys B Squared." The pizza arrived at our table within 20 minutes and MAN was this pizza delicious! We didn't feel rushed to finish eating because the staff were so courteous.We had an opportunity to express our delight with the owner before leaving. She was very appreciative and stated the pizza is a family recipe.We are from SC, but I PROMISE this will be THE first place we visit when we return! There are not enough stars in this review system for this restaurant, food and staff.Kid-friendliness: They have games and coloring books to entertain the younglings.

The owners allowed us to host a team party at Capizzi's, and it was everything we needed in more. It was a casual-family environment where we felt comfortable getting up and taking space. They created a shmorgishborg of food from salad, a variety of pizzas, pasta/lasagna, and even allowed each person to end with an ice cream sundae. The pizza hit the spot after a long day, and one of the owners gave me a box of cookies for coaching, free of charge! I haven't experienced such outward kindess from a restaurant in sometime and highly recommend their food, ice cream, and service if you're in the Sandusky area!Thanks so much again from Eastside Volleyball Club!!
