I used to love Cedar Point. It was the go-to spot for roller coaster fans, and I always looked forward to spending the day there. But after my last visit, I honestly don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon. We waited in line for hours to ride, and you’re not even allowed to bring a water bottle with you. No shade, no fans, no hydration. Just standing there in the heat hoping the ride wouldn’t break down. And of course, it did. Multiple times. We were stuck in line not knowing if it would reopen or if we had just wasted all that time. Then there’s the locker situation. You’re required to pay $15 for just four hours of locker access. It’s not optional. If you want to ride, you have to pay. They don’t offer bins or places to leave your stuff anymore. If you leave anything unattended, they throw it away. That actually happened to us twice. Our bags were tossed like trash. Between the $60 ticket and $40 parking, you’re already out $100 per person before you even step foot in the park. Add locker fees, food, and drinks, and it’s hard to feel like you’re getting anything close to what you’re paying for. And when we tried to talk to guest services about our missing items, there was nothing. No apology, no eye contact, no empathy. Just cold, robotic responses. It felt like they couldn’t care less. That was the final straw. Cedar Point used to be about the thrills. Now it feels like one big cash grab, and the people running it don’t even pretend to care.
We went last year in August, half the rides were not open. Water rides said closed for Halloweekends, that’s two months away!$7 for a bottle of water! It is way too expensive, new owners ruined it. Its to expensive and I don’t plan on going back.
good environment
$155 for 6 cheese burgers, fries, and a drink. It was so expensive I thought she mischarged me. Not worth the money.
Waited 45min for a $20 burger
Me and my family come to cedar point once a summer and I ALWAYS make it a point to eat here! The burgers and fries r better than any other park restaurant and the vibes r so diner. I literally feel like I stepped back to the 50s. The booths, the jukebox, and the music all give excellent vibes! The booths fill up fast so come early or just come late at night when the parks about to close. I absolutely love the strawberry milkshake here it’s my favorite! The root beer float here is disgusting it tastes like chocolate lol. The booths r super retro and have their own mini jukeboxes. Now there is a trick to this place not many people know about. If you yell JUKEBOX really loud u can get a free meal. Seems weird and awkward but it worked for me and my friends. They also have live shows where the employees jump out of the retro cars and start singing oldies hits. So much fun to watch. I can’t wait to come back here for the burgers and the strawberry milkshake. Last time I got a milkshake as I was leaving the AC unit blew my cherry off the top and a cop behind me stepped on it and I cackled super loud and ran off 😂. The service is typically good but the employees can be a little more enthusiastic at times than others. I would recommend this place if ur at cedar point. Lots of cute twink guys come in here as well. Good eye candy lol.
This place has really gone down over the years. I thought people were exaggerating when I heard this but from this last visit I am so disappointed.
This vacation was a waste of our money. Booked to stay at lighthouse point with the ride and refresh package. We had tickets for both cedar point and cedar shores with early entry into cedar pojnt. Called and spoke to someone to pay the final balance and ask a few questions. Asked about where to get early entry tickets, was told the ticket counter at the amusement park. This was inaccurate. And the people at the ticket counter had no idea what to do and had to call a supervisor. Turns out it was at the hotel desk. By the time we got our tickets, early entry had passed. Get into the theme park when it was open and most rides were closed due to staffing issues. No drink counters in the Snoopy camp area were even open. We also had all day premium dining tickets for both days and could barely use them because a lot food and drink places were not open inside the theme park. And the ones that were open open later than expected. A lot of the rides were down throughout the day some of them were down all of the day. And I understand the whole safety protocol, but a significant portion of rise were down, and some of them were being evacuated when people were being stuck on the rides. Our cabin at lighthouse point did not have air conditioning and there were still trash from the people who were there before us so we requested a new room where the air conditioner worked. We removed to a new room, one of the toilet and flush, and the other bathroom door was off the hinges. But at least the air conditioner work! They gave us exit passes to skip the line on a ride due to the inconvenience that we were not able to use because most of the rides were closed. At the waterpark the next day we went in wouldn’t open and they let kids on the H2O splash area with the larger slides for younger kids just to pull them out and say they had never tested the slides and they needed everybody to wait. Then they close down all but two of those slides. And if I’m not mistaken, only three or four of the adult lies were operational and the staff told us it was due to lack of staffing. We spent almost $2000 on this trip, not including things besides the fees for the parts and the stay and didn’t get to do barely any of the stuff we should’ve been able to do. We had five children with us arranging in ages from 4 to 14 and it was disappointment after disappointment. And the staff response everywhere even for mistakes that they were making was oh well. It’s really sad because this park had always been a theme park. We enjoyed going to, we will never come back here. We will go to Kalahari for a waterpark I would rather go to Michigan’s adventure or a Six Flags nearby than to go here again. And did I mention the dead birds nest that is sitting and the open area where everybody sits at the waterpark? And when the staff was told about it, they just kind of shrugged their shoulders? It’s a shame how much this park has went downhill. Lack of staff and lack of apparently upkeep on the rides to keep them operational and safe.

Fun atmosphere, but like every indoor café in Cedar Point, there is never enough room inside for people to sit comfortably.
There is seating outside that is usually available on slow attendance days, but usually directly in sunlight.
Food is decent, diner style food, fries, burgers, milkshakes, etc. Prices are reasonable enough for where you're at.
Employees are rude and not helpful. Id visited on 6-11-25, around 3-330, and the girls in line catering out the food were rude and not attentive at all. Basically, screaming at customers to shuffle through like cattle in a loud and unorganized mess. My wife struggled to hear and was being yelled at. It made it difficult to even take your time to enjoy the options or even know what was available.
OK, experience, but employees made it difficult to be overly enjoyable. Would likely return if other options weren't available.
Went in Tuesday and lost my sons phone on the maverick ride. It fell out of my pocket in the tunnel. We thought it was gone forever. They just called and are shipping our phone to us! Thank you! So much! My son was so sad he lost his phone.
I used to love this place .. now they took away all the toppings from the burgers which changed this place tremendously! Seems like since the six flags merge their food has taken a huge hit most of it is really terrible these days .
This place is the worst. I ordered a cheeseburger and they said get a side, I said I don’t want it because it’s overpriced but they said I have to so when I got the fries I asked for some cheese on the side. THEY LITERALLY TOLD ME NO TO MY FACE. Also my friend wanted a cookie and they told her she couldn’t have one they said no as well and the food was so unsanitary. Also food was so mid.
Been going since I was 2 years old, and always have the best time!
