I go every year during the Halloween season. Best haunted houses around. Would never miss it.

TLDR: food was good, employees seemed tired and over the entitled nature of the human cattle being herded through the line as if waiting for a ride, strawberry shake was good, chocolate was NOT

The waiting in line for the food was less than nice, but you’re at an amusement park with thousands of other people- what do you expect? 😅

There was a good amount of options there for food, we got an order of fries and onion rings. Then, I saw the display for the parfaits and decided I needed to have one, it was devilishly beautiful 🤩. Everything was good, but especially the parfait, which I scarfed down so quickly that my bf had looked down and up again and it was gone- which caused great joy as we both guffawed at my gluttony 🤣.

We also decided since we were pigging out 🐷, that we would get a chocolate malt and a strawberry malt. The strawberry one was good, but the chocolate one was not. It just tasted like vanilla with like an “off” flavor. We went back in to inquire if they could make a new one because it looked and tasted wrong, and we were told that that’s how it’s supposed to be… so we were not impressed and ended up going elsewhere and paying for another one, because when you have a craving that won’t quit, YOU DON’T QUIT!

4 stars because of that

Vegetarian options: Obviously the items without meat don’t have meat in them like fries, onion rings, parfaits, etc

Parking: The parking is for the park which is paid

Kid-friendliness: I think kids would eat almost everything here

Got a cheeseburger, fries, and a large coke. They don't make the burgers like they used to before 2017. The only good things were the mustard, ketchup, and coke... RIP old Coasters...

Frings is literally half an order of onion rings and half an order of French fries. They're not some special hybrid half potato, half onion fry-looking things.

The burgers are pre-made as is the fried chicken sandwich. The chicken tenders are also pre-made but that's like anywhere else. Burgers and chicken sandwiches tend to be more on the greasy side.

The food was okay, just the typical burgers, chicken, and french fries. The workers were very disrespectful, seemed annoyed with what they were doing, and were inconsiderate and impatient. I ordered a peach shake and a chocolate shake and the person behind me ordered a vanilla shake and a chocolate. I ended up getting a peach shake and a strawberry shake?? Don’t know how that happened?? I think they mixed up the orders and gave them my chocolate shake?? But I didn’t go back up to ask for a replacement because the workers seemed so incredibly annoyed and were disrespectful throughout the entire process. Do not go here.

Cedar Point is the BEST ride park in the country! It is a family friendly park with rides for all ages! Four generations of my family has enjoyed the rides, the food, entertainment, the friendly staff, and it has been consistent over these many years! We never leave the park disappointed! It is always memorable!!! Years ago my family stayed in the cottages along the lake… only had outdoor cold water showers, but we had a hoot! It was fly season too. Kids hot bit up while at the beach, but it still did not sway us to leave. (They tore them down that next year!!) I have a new great grandson being born this September and the first place my grandson wants to bring him is the great Cedar Point! It’s been tough on the owners as it is seasonal. Winter on the lake is tough on the equipment, buildings, rides, getting new staff each year and on and on. Because of the our awareness of these hardships, makes us appreciate Cedar Point even more. Everyone works hard for all that enter to have a memorable time at dear Cedar Point! I remember Jungle Larry as part of the park and so much more! It makes memories for us all! It’s an Ohio treasure! My grandchildren are planning on another trip to Cedar Point before snow flies. They live in Florida and hands down believe that Cedar Point is the number one park in the country!!!

❕️This review is mostly about service❕️
Cafeteria style way of getting food is fine until it's packed, and people forget what a line is. I go to pay, and it takes two different registers to scan a QR code for a meal and 10 attempts for their reader to take a debit card. I bought a chocolate milkshake for 7.99. So I stand there while I watch 5 teen employees huddled over a single register while mine attempts to fill up a milk shake cup only to abandon it for 3 minutes come back then leave another 3 then come back to add whipped cream and then leave it there complete for 2 minutes before coming back to give it to me. In the time it took for him to make one milk shake, two not so gentlemen reached over the heavily guarded counter and stole a souvenir cup each. Very insane to watch. Mostly not cool about the young cashier treating my milkshake like a 10 minute break. He was chasing out up with his buddy's in the back and kinda just randomly touching parfiats. There's about 11 booths inside the rest of the seating is all outside. Just over staffed and everyone is unwilling to pick up the pace was the main issue.

Always fun but services can be spotty. Rides often down for weather, maintenance, and lack of sufficient employee staff requiring rotation of what is open. Hotel Breakers is stunning and worth it even if you dont go into the park. Lines can be long. Use Fast Lane if possible and temper your expectations. Like most other amusement parks it is no longer a one-day park. My only negative is the ongoing removal of older non-coaster rides with no family friendly replacements. Coasters are not sufficient and without the variety families with younger kids will get little out of their days. Kiddie rides are not the equivalent of family friendly rides.
