Absolutely over this place, Derek was so nice and down to earth made me and my kids and husband feel so comfortable. The food was delicious, being from Texas we've had a hard time finding good bbq in Ohio and we finally found one. 100% will be getting all our bbq from here in the future. Thanks for the great experience l, great customer service and delish food!

I was really excited to try this place. We got take out and when my partner arrived he questioned where the food was made from, as the place was that small. The food was not fresh. I got a shredded chicken sandwich, and it was extremely dry. There was a tiny squirt of the sauce, which the sauce itself wasn't that good.

Had the pleasure of getting food from this restaurant yesterday after visiting Cedar Point. Ordered the ribs, Mac & Cheese and Greens and everything tasted great! I must say the ribs were tender and greens were seasoned great, I most definitely will be back. Also the two young men that were working were very professional and polite!
The food was delicious! We were looking for barbecue while on vacation and came across this place. It did not disappoint. When we come back, we'll definitely be stopping here again.

If you enjoy BBQ, order here! There was only one employee working so it took about 20-25 minutes from the time we arrived to waiting in line, placing order, and receiving our order, but we weren't in any rush and our meal was well-worth the wait. The brisket, ribs, and pulled pork were fresh, hot, and delicious with sauce included right on each meat. Mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful. Cornbread was served as a cupcake which was fun for our little to enjoy. We also ordered nachos and cheese which were a big hit -- the chips appeared to be custom-seasoned and Derrick Jr has us wanting nachos & cheese with our BBQ now! There is minimal seating inside and Derrick Jr.'s shares a space with a Cookie Dough bar. We took our order outside in the courtyard and ate. Only first-world problem we encountered was we wish they had a fountain pop machine. Only bottled options of soda were available. We would still all happily go back and dine!

I am speechless and rarely write reviews and…this place is absolutely amazing. The food taste like the best cook in your family and then go up 2 notches. The service is incredible and the atmosphere is the best part of home. The prices are extremely affordable and after tasting the food, if it wasn’t affordable, I would save in order to come and have this food experience.
