Super solid industry joint. Everybody seems to know each other in lots of shop talk about restaurants and bars. Our kinda place. Service can be amazing, or just OK, and I think some of that depends on if you are a regular or not. Overall, it appears they really tried to provide good service though. Fantastic prices and good drinks for such a sweet location downtown. Highly recommended and my guess is, the more you come, the better your experiences will be.
JaxBar is a hidden gem that leans into its charm. It’s small and cozy—definitely not built for big crowds—but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in atmosphere. The space was clean, the bartender was welcoming, and the drink selection hit a satisfying balance of variety and quality.

JaxBar has the perfect atmosphere if you’re looking for a quaint local experience. The bar itself is small in size making it easy to be a part of the conversation. Although it’s small it contains plenty of character and characters. Proper drinks from friendly bartenders surrounded by plenty of locals that seemed to become your friends as soon as you walk in. Jax is always doing something to help their local community as well. Another great reason to visit.
