So I was shopping here recently with my Aunt and using 32 FREE ITEM coupons that I had received from contacting companies. Well I began shopping and my Aunt went to Customer Service just to let them know that I was going to be using 32 FREE ITEM coupons so that way maybe they could open up another register instead of making other customers what in line behind me since it was going to be a process. So I finished my shopping and we went to Customer Service to let them know I was ready to check out and they sent me to self checkout which for me brought GREAT enjoyment!!!!!!! So here is how it worked. I scanned all 32 items, then I would scan a coupon. Then Taya; a Kroger employee and I would have to scroll through all my items and find the right product. Then Taya would enter the price of the item. Mind you we had to do that 32 times. Taya was so sweet during the whole process and had a GREAT attitude. Not only was she helping me but she had to help other people with self checkout. Taya definitely made the whole checkout process a pleasant experience!!!!!!!

Terrible store that started out great and quickly went down hill. The store is always filthy with crowded aisles from online ordering. The management at this store is by far the worst that I have ever encountered. I was once yelled at by an assistant manger for asking if he could open up an extra lane to help the elderly. His response was well I would have to pull a staff member from another area and I can’t do that!!! That tells me that this store is not a great place to work either, based on their short handedness of staff.
Then the last time I went to this store it was like I needed hobo stab insurance just to enter.

When picking up an online order, check your bags before you leave. If you end up missing items they charged you for, they'll try to claim you got them & are lying about it. I live 20 miles away & I got all the way home before noticing, so that means I'm doing something shady? This store knows good & well it has people coming from every rural area around. Common sense should let an employee notice when they're holding a bag of ten items vs the THIRTY it should be, especially in those massive bags they used! The employee who packed the order, did they not remember only counting out 10 instead of 30? Or should I return the blame right back, and ask if THEY took the extra 20 & are lying about it? I wonder if this is something every store does. Ridiculous.

You need to accommodate your customers & have more checkouts open NOT self serve. Your business should be customer friendly. 1 checkout 15 people in that checkout

ya all need to turn your lights on outside. at 6:24 it was completely dark.. krogers didn't have a single overhead light on. that's just dangerous for your shoppers. love the store but no lights in the parking lot is a huge negative

I don’t recommend this store because of double charging the cost of an entire order (charging me twice for the same order), and after 6 calls still refusing to return my money. The second charge was unauthorized (who would agree to pay for something twice?), so they can’t be trusted to appropriately handle your bank account information. I will have no choice but to file a formal complaint outside of Kroger because, as I said, I’ve asked them 6 times.

at the West entrance a man fell out of the passenger side van.He had low sugar.2 of your lot employees walked right by him and did NOTHING
I came in late at night. checking out with $200 in groceries, a very friendly young lady opened her aisle for me. I was super impressed. Shelves are always full even through the pandemic. I'm glad I walked out of Walmart and gave you a try. I will continue shopping with Kroger in Sandusky!
