We come to Landmark Kitchen & Bar often with friends and always enjoy the food and the atmosphere. This visit was no exception.

I started with a bowl of their delicious chili, which was the perfect appetizer, and followed it up with a great cheeseburger that really hit the spot.

Consistently good food, a relaxed vibe, and a place we’re always happy to come back to.
Highly recommend stopping in whenever you get the chance.

We tried food off Christmas Eve menu, and it was pretty good. I just wish there was an option to add meat like sausage or bacon to the waffle order. Service was a bit slow even though the place wasn’t busy, but the server was friendly and helpful. We’ll likely return in the spring or summer.

Went as a group of 12. Suggest a call ahead for reservations. A fantastic place for 12 to meet, eat/drink and chat! Wide and delicious menu offerings: surf, turf and vegan. Great drink choices. And DESSERTS! Top-notch wait staff and equally great food prep staff! A thousand thank you's!!

Ample good food with reasonably attentive service. Workers were observed fiddling with hair, handling food (e.g.lemon wedges) with ungloved hands.

We chose this restaurant based on the menu/reviews while visiting the area last week. It was amazing! Angie our server was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Happy Hour drinks were generous, and food portions large. The prime rib was cooked perfectly, and the perch was exceptional (This coming from perch snobs). I just wish we had known about this place all those years we traveled here to C.P.

Greeter was rude when we entered the restaurant on a quiet Sunday evening. Told us that we'd have to wait 10 minutes for a table when we could see empty tables. Service was slow after we were seated. The view from the patio was nice and the food was good once we got it. Prices were very reasonable.

Landmark was mostly good. We went during a week night for dinner. We were seated inside and could see the lake, which was very nice. It has a casual bar type atmosphere. It was a little rough around the edges in terms of cleanliness.

Our service was really good, and our drinks and food came out quickly.

We shared the scallop appetizer and it was delicious and cooked perfectly.

My wife got the Cajun chicken linguine and it was very tasty, well seasoned pasta and good flavor.

I ordered the ribeye dinner and unfortunately I found it very underwhelming, especially considering the price. Almost not seasoned at all. It was cooked to medium rare as I had asked, but it just didn’t have much flavor. I ended up having to use a generous amount of table salt and pepper to get through it. The green beans were also not seasoned. The seasonal potatoes, however, were very good.

I think if we revisit I’ll stick to a pasta or sea food dish. Their signature perch dish looked very delectable when we saw it come out for another table.

My family has struggled to find a reasonably priced, great quality restaurant in Sandusky for years, but after going to Landmark, I’m happy to say we’ve finally found our go to spot! We went on a whim after our reservations were cancelled elsewhere, and they were able to get us in with no problem! We immediately loved the casual atmosphere and small restaurant feel. Our waiter, Alex, was incredible! He was so sweet, helpful, attentive, and welcoming! It would be hard going back and not having him as our server.

The wait for food was a little long, but they were unexpectedly busy due to a local Sandusky festival. That being said, the food was definitely worth the wait! Everything we had was delicious, including the wings, burger, wrap, Tuscan chicken, and grouper. I especially recommend the Caesar salad as a side and chocolate cake for dessert! As a bonus, the food was very well priced!

We are definitely going to dine here again and recommend it to anyone visiting!

I rarely complain online about a place, however, I think it might be helpful for others to know. My husband ordered the prime rib. He ordered calamari as well for an app and they told us they had no marinara to go along with it, which was pretty surprising. The prime rib arrived at the table finally and to say that there was an absence of flavor is quite an understatement. The presentation of the dish was very unusual as well. The PR was literally draped across the green beans and potatoes. The price of their food was absolutely unjustified. The atmosphere was awesome but unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the service. When I mentioned the issue to the server, absolutely nothing was done to help rectify the problem and 2 minutes later she returned and slapped the check down and walked away. No offering of dessert or the management to come and talk to us. It was just very strange. If you do go, do yourself a favor and avoid the prime rib!
