Coaching in a youth tournament at Sports Force Park and decided to take my wife out for a bite and a drink. Found this place and was pleasantly surprised. Molly, our bartender, was very friendly and open to making menu suggestions. Andy, the owner, made a quick introduction but didn’t linger. He was very nice, and interested in our experience. The food was nothing fancy, but it was delicious and prices were very reasonable. Definitely worth a try.
It was good and well made. The staff was friendly. The onion rings were golden brown, fresh and crispy. The Dutch burger was fresh, juicy and tasted great. The atmosphere when we went Saturday near 5pm was kind of dead. Honestly I was surprised there wasn't anyone else there eating. Maybe its their location on why they wasnt busy. Or maybe they dont advertise that well or they possibly may not even understand the analytics and foot traffic. If I was them I would advertise...
Really enjoyed the experience here while being out of town at a baseball tournament. The server, Alyson, was the highlight of our time there. She was very friendly, prompt, and thorough in caring for our large party with players and parents. The food was timely and tasty. I would highly recommend trying the Old Dutch Tavern, and if you get the chance ask for Alyson.
