5 people. Service was good. The food and drinks, that's another story. They came out with some ribs that were so dry and charred on the top. They looked like wood with syrup on them. E
veryone that had the boneless wings and fries said they were just okay. I ordered an adult beverage and I tell you no flavor. I didn't taste any alcohol. I even had people that didn't drink alcohol smell it to see if they can smell alcohol they said no. I came here in July and we ate here. The food was better than. I don't know what happened but I'll never be back. Their wasn't a line on the receipt for a signature. Yet he asked me to sign it. I was originally was thinking of going to Famous Dave's, I should have followed my first mind. I just didn't feel like getting on the little bus ride.

Business is permanently closed!
Any time it's suggested that I close my eyes and think about my happy place, whether it's to help me sleep or to decompress from a stressful day, it's here. It's TGI Fridays Cedar Point. Sitting at the bar, with a tall, cold beer, and some appetizers. When I am here, I am happy as a clam, and nothing else in the world matters. Looking out at the beach and lake, while a football or hockey game is on TV. Slug a few cold ones down, fill the belly with some cheesy, fried deliciousness, and either head up to our room, or back into the park to ride or people watch.
yes, there are times when the service can be slow, and an occasional rude employee, but it's understandable given the large amounts of sometimes not-so-nice people that have to deal with.
Menu has improved over the last couple of years, and so has the food. The atmosphere- just awesome!
So I am going to click my shoes 3 times, and repeat "there's no place like Fridays at Cedar Point"
Looking forward to an October visit for 4 nights!

Lots of complainers in the reviews. Obviously need to manage their expectations considering this a FRIDAYs. This is not a Michelin Star restaurant, it's a Fridays. The food is decent, the service is friendly, and the prices are lower than they could be considering the location. You can pay 18 bucks for a decent burger here, or pay 18 bucks for a cardboard burger in the park, your choice. I kept choosing to come here because the service was good, and the food was good.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.

Great experience! Sat at the bar and had amazing service. My hubby and I both got the New York strip and it was done perfectly. Don’t let the other reviews keep you from coming. We have to remember this is a resort location and timing is everything.
We had a great experience here. Our server was polite and friendly and let us sit next to the window so we could people watch. The drinks were cold and the food came out quickly. A nice relaxing treat after being in the park all day long.

Poor experience here with a largish group. Drinks and food order taken quickly but food was 90 mins later - some cold. Not great quality. Would advise against dining here with a larger party.

Restaurantji Recommends
Beachside restaurant that doesn’t allow children in swimsuits to come in and eat. What sense does this make? Had our kids meet us at the restaurant and they were turned away.
Our food is now sitting getting cold because we have to take them back to the room so they can get full tshirts so they are covered and what TGIFridays deems “decent”. My girls had on shorts. Can’t recommend. Won’t be back.
Update: as I was leaving, I saw a boy sitting and eating with his parents - WITH NO SHIRT ON. My 10-12 year old girls had tank swimsuit tops, shorts and shoes and they were turned away. Their swim tops covered more than the adults who were allowed in. Apparently TGI Fridays discriminates against women and girls. Good to know.

We came here to eat and everything and everyone was great.
We got seated fast but the waitress was a bit slow with the drinks and food (it was a bit busy but still).
Otherwise I would recommend

Bartender Anthony, working Friday night 7/5 needs to be fired or at the very least trained on customer service skills and how to communicate with other human beings in a respectful way.
Jessica on the other hand from Sunday night 7/7 got a $10 tip on a $15 check because she was the complete opposite of the pond scum that Anthony was.
On top of that, Anthony was dressed extremely unprofessionally and had on a backwards hat and sunglasses.
People like Anthony make customers not ever want to give your brand their money anymore. People like Jessica, who was training someone and also providing customer service, make people want to come back.

Beer was cold, fries were kinda warm. Mozzarella sticks were on point. Wings were the frozen kind you buy at the grocery store. Service was fine. Pretty sure the seasonal nature of this place equates to my low expectations despite the high cost. It was only place open late so didn’t have any other options. Think of the worst Fridays experience at a busy airport and this location is about two or three levels below that.

Really disappointed. We got a take out order of just appetizers and were told 15-20 minutes and they’d text us. Fine. 25 minutes later we just checked and we’re told it wasn’t ready and that they’d text us when it was. 55 minutes later we checked again, it was sitting there and the food wasn’t even close to warm. Still no text.
