Typical hibachi experience. They try and turn you over pretty fast to get as many people through as possible.

We arrived on time and I needed some time to review the menus. Our server said we were late and should’ve been on time. I asked for more time and he stood there impatiently. Worst service from server who arrogance almost caused us to leave.

The food is good and show as well but the service from the servers is very bad from the servers, they are always in a hurry and are rude especially the women servers. I don’t I’ll be there again.

Very disappointed in the steak we got. Poor quality steak. Most Japanese grills like this we received cooked noodles, fried rice, grilled vegetables, soup and salad. . Here there was no noodles or salad.

Mediocre at best. The quality has really gone downhill. My hibachi meal was a major disappointment—the scallops were burned and they tried to cover it up with a ton of butter and soy sauce. They also charged extra for the usual ginger dressing on the salad and would only offer ranch instead, which is completely out of place at a Japanese restaurant. Service was also lacking, as we were never offered another drink or dessert. Don't waste your time.

I wouldn't eat here again. Tomo is the Hibachi restaurant located in Hotel Breakers, and I had a very disappointing experience. First off, the prices are absolutely ridiculous, being way over what they should. Secondly, the food is mediocre at best. I've had way better sushi and hibachi at pretty much every other hibachi restaurant I've been to. Finally, the service feels insanely rushed, and the restaurant feels super packed in. The waiter didn't give any time to decide about drinks, and as soon as the hibachi chef left, he rushed the check out, seeming annoyed. Also, there are not that many tables, and only one non-hibachi table that is super tiny, and the whole place feels cramped. The only good part was that the hostess and the chef I had were both great and didn't seem annoyed. I do not recommend this place.

We walked in unsure what to expect from a hibachi spot inside a resort hotel, but we left extremely satisfied—this was the best hibachi we’ve had in a long time, and we’d happily do it again.

The service was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and well-paced. I loved that the meal was spread out in a way that felt like multiple courses: rice first, then the meat, then the vegetables. Everything was timed perfectly so you could enjoy each part without feeling rushed.

The food was high-quality and delicious. Every bite tasted fresh and well-prepared. The only miss for me was the sushi—it wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering it.

Excellent hibachi, great pacing, and top-notch service. Skip the sushi, but otherwise, it’s a must-visit.

So the restaurant had good AC. That's where it stops. My wife has a shrimp allergy, and when she was eating her food. She found two pieces of shrimp in it. If you wanted a lobster dish, it was ridiculously expensive, $65 dollars or more. For sauces, all they had was yum yum sauce. No ginger or anything else. So we ordered our food. I let my kids order for themselves. I showed my daughter the kids list to pick from. So she told the server she wanted the chicken. So when our bill comes. They charged her meal as an adult meal. Customer service was awful. The waiter told me you have to tell him kids chicken. I said it was a kid that ordered it from you. He told me it didn't matter. I didn't tell him. So I asked for a manager and was told there was no manager here. So another worker came up and said no, I didn't tell them kids. My 9 year old daughter is standing there. I said she ordered it. They did not care. So well, I didn't tell you i wanted the adult portion, so you could have charged me as a kid right. Lol. So shame on me and my daughter not telling them kids. I think it was a bit ridiculous, but they were very rude about it.

Steven was a wonderful chef/server! Explaining throughly and read the room well. Portion sizes were huge and it's clear the staff works well together to keep things moving.

The service here was just so bad it made for an extremely disappointing dining experience. Immediately upon being sat the server pushed for our food and drink orders. I barely had a chance to even read the menu. I have 22 month old twin boys and wanted them to share a meal and server told me there would be a $15 charge to share a plate! They are damn babies, what a money grab! After taking our order the server never came back over. Hibachi chef was okay, he wasn’t the most engaging chef, but we still had fun. The second he finished serving us and before I even took one bite of food our waitress came over with boxes and checks. Never asked how our meal was or if we needed refills (which we did!). She never cleared any of our dirty soup dishes from the table and again while I was still eating with my party told me they needed the table for the next reservation. They literally started to bus our plates while we were eating still! We were not even in there an hour. The whole meal was rushed and the server terrible.

I want to start by saying I’ve been to this restaurant many times. We go every year when we come to Breakers. This place has changed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT GO. The food is great, but the SEVICE AND MANNERS of the waiters/hostess is detrimental. They were an HOUR late for our reservation, and they are not welcoming. My family will leave the resort and go to another restaurant before we EVER go back. I will go to TGI Fridays before I ever come back to this disastrous place and I will spend more money ELSEWHERE. AVOID!

I’ve been to this restaurant every summer, but now I will AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Good food, but the service and atmosphere is a disaster. Service, particularly the waiters/hostess are RUDE AND PUSHY. Do yourself a favor and avoid, and go to TGI FRIDAYS, or leave the resort. They will NEVER get my business again. They will not be on time either. We made a reservation, and they were an hour late. Waiters were RUDE.
