I had a wonderful experience at Shade winery this evening. I haven’t been able to visit for several years because I work at Pleasant Hill winery nearby, and our hours are very similar. I happened to have the night off and attended an event that was hosted at Shade. The food was amazing as well as the wine. I tried the estate Vidal Blanc as well as the Sangiovese and Chardonnay. We stopped here for the first time today on our way home from a grad party at OU- we didn't have a reservation but there only 2 of us so we were seated right away- beautiful setting, indoor and outdoor options depending on weather- wine excellent and the food was outstanding, service exceptional- we will make a reservation next time, will definitely be visiting here again.
