The ambience here is great. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table. The staff are professional. The views outside are break taking. The food was delicious and they have great collection of wine. Their carrot cake was yummy. Everything here is done with care. I highly recommend
Last time we were here service was extremely slow.. Much better at serving and setting this time around. Our food was good. The bread and oil is the best. Server was knowledgeable of food. We ordered salmon, chicken and steak dinners. Chicken is not what you would expect, flavor was mediocre at best, salmon was good, steak was good. Now let’s get to the wine. I had a wonderful experience at Shade winery this evening. I haven’t been able to visit for several years because I work at Pleasant Hill winery nearby, and our hours are very similar. I happened to have the night off and attended an event that was hosted at Shade. The food was amazing as well as the wine. I tried the estate Vidal Blanc as well as the Sangiovese and Chardonnay.
