Excellent experience

Oxtail plate was $26. They were a little tough. Portion size was ok. Probably would get something else if I decide to return. There are definitely better options for Jamaican for almost $30.

Just not my preference and I eat a lot of Jamaican food. Too each is own. Plantain was very hard.

Great food. Irregular business open, sometimes not open during published scheduled hours.

This was my first experience at this restaurant and I only have great things to say. We were greeted happily by Shane! With it being our fist time, he went over the menu and the food... asking what our likes and dislikes were. He was very patient. I can't say enough about the food. I got the box with curry and jerk. The food was seasoned perfectly and had so much flavor! I can't wait to go back and try something different! Nice work Shane 👓!!

Rice and beans are the staple to any Jamaican spot. The Rice and beans here were awful. The gravy they put on top is different than the gravy from whatever meat you choose. With the bowl, they give you a few pieces of meat and tons of cabbage to make up for the meniscal amount of meat. The workers were nice and friendly, but the food was not what I would expect from a Jamaican spot. Also, a piece of cornbread is $3.50?? That’s wild.

This location made me realize I was too harsh with my criticism for the new Lakewood location. I’ve never had such horrible, old tasting plantains. The Mac and cheese was warm, which is all I can say about it and the rice and jerk chicken was just okay.

Fantastic Jamaican dishes.

Ordered on doordash got jerk chicken mac and cheese and a beef patty. Some how they are out of everything. 30 minutes before close? Sounds like they just don't wanna make it too me. Regardless this should be updated to doordash to prevent me losing 30 dollars for a week waiting on a refund. Kinda sad

They never have beef(steak). They ran out of my order(Rasta pasta) and never cancelled it on door dash. So I drove 30 minutes to pick up my order to be told they’re all out. They didn’t even have the decency to cancel my order before I drove out there. They claim they can’t cancel orders. Well they could’ve called to let me know they didn’t have it. Will never order from here again.

I got some peas and rice and jerk chicken and some oxtail the chicken was under cook still had blood the oxtail was not good the rice was too soft

I ordered the Chicken Curry with rice and "peas", and cabbage and plantains. The dish was excellent! I highly recommend!

I've been wanting to try Irie for quite a while now since they are so well rated by various magazines and such. We ordered on a Friday evening and the food was ready for pickup super quick.
We had the 3 Likkle Birds, which gave us I nice intro to three different chicken preparations. The jerk is spicy, but right below my tolerance level, which was perfect. The stewed was less spicy and tasty, and the curry very mild. The curry wasn't as flavorful as most curries I've had, but it was still very good.
We also had the oxtail, which is good but needed a little salt to make it tastier. We ordered extra plantains because we didn't realize they came with the oxtail, but we were glad because they are excellent!
Those two entrees filled us up and we have enough leftovers for another meal. Can't wait to order from here again!
