“We enjoyed the build-your-own salads. Everything was fresh and tasty; nothing was oily or salty. Pita bread was not included and getting it reflected another upcharge. Felafel balls were crispy and delicious.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by the Northstar cafe. Stopped in for a quick bite to eat before Sunday mass. The food came out quick and was delicious. Was a bit sad that they didn’t have a wider latte selection, but the atmosphere and food made up for it. There’s a coffee shop close by at Van Aken Market.”

“I was looking for a venue for an upcoming work event for around 25-30 people, and decided to check out Midnight Owl Brewing over the weekend to see if it could meet our needs. We stopped in on Saturday around 12:30pm and it was pretty dead, but as we sat there, more and more people started to fill in. The space was nice and clean, and had minimal but fun decor that tied into the owl theme of the business. Menus are offered through a QR code, so it's not the place for those without a bit of technical understanding. We ordered the "big 'ol pretzel" and as soon as it came out of the kitchen doors blew instantly understood why it has that name! It's certainly an appetizer to share with others. We also got wings, fries, and sandwiches and all were tasty. I'm looking forward to going back this week with a larger group and trying the beer selection.”

“We visited for happy hour and enjoyed the signature Paloma cocktail - grapefruit and tequila - yum! They had specials for appetizers, tacos and drinks. Though it wasn’t crowded it took a while to be served. There was only one person behind the bar. The cauliflower taco was SO good! Lots of fresh ingredients. The avacado hummus was great - beautiful presentation! We enjoyed ourselves.Vegetarian options: Salads and two totes of tacos were vegetarian”

“I’ve never had a bad meal at Rice Shop and have been there many times. However, I want to give kudos to the team that worked last night because the food was next level! I always get the same thing, fish, but whatever they did to it this time made it better than ever before. Perfect ratios and flavor. Great service too! Keep those folks around. Chef’s kiss!”

“Small restaurant with a limited, but tasty and reasonably priced menu with a spattering of unique offerings. Perfect for a quick bite & some wine. I hear their ribs are great, but we weren't hungry enough for that. AJ was very helpful recommending something light & quick (they were closing in 40 minutes) for dinner. He suggested an Italian wine which my husband said was fantastic. Food was made to order with attentive service. They have a large wine menu and an amazing selection of wines by the bottle in the adjoining room. We will come back on a Saturday for their rib special.”

The wide range of food options that were made available to us gave our guests a fantastic pallet of delicious options. “Saffron patch always has amazing food that is fresh and tasty. The chicken tikki masala and tandoori chicken are always amazing and consistent. Food is a little bit higher on the price side but its always enough for two meals. Their breads are also delicious along with their chutney.”

“This was my first visit, and the gentleman that helped me was terrific. He gave me samples of the chicken to try, as I was concerned about how spicy it would be. He also told me about the ingredients of the side dishes. I just wish there were tables and not only a counter for eat-in dining. “Just went there for my first time. I’ve been craving apple cider since the start of Fall. It’s so good. Even their smoothies are delicious, as well. I’m eating their jumbo hash brown and it’s so good. The customer service was really good. I’m definitely coming back here, again. ???”
