I was pleasantly surprised by the Northstar cafe. Stopped in for a quick bite to eat before Sunday mass. The food came out quick and was delicious. Was a bit sad that they didn’t have a wider latte selection, but the atmosphere and food made up for it. There’s a coffee shop close by at Van Aken Market.
Excellent restaurant. We visited on a Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. Wonderful live jazz music. Order your food and pay for it at the hostess stand. Take a seat and your food is delivered to you along with cocktails. We enjoyed the padded seats at the bar.

I talked my husband into going. We went on Friday evening, we sat at the bar, service was great. As we sat there I heard a saxophone with my back to the band. I asked my husband is that a sax I hear. He said yes. The band was good. My husband said "this is going to be my new go to place". Nice crowd.
