Also really liked the lemon merigue tart. The croissants are very, very good, not absolute top tier but all the flavors are there.“

“My son’s first college football game for his sophomore year brought me to the area and we wanted to grab some sandwiches for tailgate and I was so happy I walked into this place. We’re from New Jersey and we felt like family here. They gave us samples of cake and bread while we waited on line. We were also given an amazing coconut cake/bar that blew my mind and it was given for free because it was our first visit. Everything tasted amazing and such friendly staff. I am a picky Italian when it comes to Italian food and Alesci's has some of the best Italian food in Cleveland. Everything tasted fresh, homemade and authentic and my guests LOVED the food which makes me that much happier. This is the second wedding that Alesci's catered for me. Asian bakeries/patisseries are hard to come by in the Cleveland area so naturally I was excited to try and was not disappointed. Ordered a box of pastries as well as their green tea roll cake. Croissants are the best I’ve had in Cleveland. So many flaky layers, perfect texture, just the right amount of sweetness. Green tea roll cake was also phenomenal. Had bits of red bean and the cream was light and airy. The cake itself was soft and moist. Will be coming back. Highly recommend“

“Everything at Corbo’s is so fresh. We started going to Little Italy location years ago and now Playhouse location since we stay downtown when coming to Cleveland Clinic. It’s nice coming for a good cup of coffee and breakfast. Whether you want a sweet treat or breakfast sandwich, everything is superb including lunch. “We stopped in for lunch and it exceeded our expectations! We ordered a ham sandwich on focaccia bread with potato, broccoli and cheddar soup, and the Claudio sandwich with white bread. It was all spectacular! The story of how the shop started was also sweet to read inside the restaurant. We will definitely stop here again next time we are in the area.“
