My husband has celiac's and a few years ago we were visiting my Aunt and Uncle in Chagrin Falls and my Aunt purchased a gluten free cake. The cake was so delicious we all had a moment of panic that it was not actually gluten free, thankfully it was and my then-boyfriend never stopped talking about it. “This bakery is a standout among bakeries in Cleveland! The quality of the cafe level drinks and all of the pastries and goodies is phenomenal. I have been to a lot of cafes/bakeries around the world and the bakery items here are so delicious because they are a little less sweet than the standard bakery. The cakes are light and fluffy, the cream filled breads and donuts are decadent and light, and the classic Korean style croquettes and fried bread items are delicious! I have been coming here since they opened, and the owners are so lovely and sincere as well. I would recommend this bakery to anyone who loves not too sweet baked good, and delicious and light savory croissants/breads! My personal favorite are the matcha creme donuts and breads. Also their lavender matcha latte and matcha frappe are to die for!

Also the service and the people who work here all are incredibly friendly and professional. They take time to pack your items for take out orders, and are careful.

“I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you to Ethan and his staff for doing such an absolutely amazing job at my daughter's wedding this past weekend. Ethan is the best! He is a pleasure to work with, he knows his job and does it very well. The servers were so kind and worked so hard while keeping a smile on their faces at all times. And the food...it was incredible. I am a picky Italian when it comes to Italian food and Alesci's has some of the best Italian food in Cleveland. Everything tasted fresh, homemade and authentic and my guests LOVED the food which makes me that much happier. This is the second wedding that Alesci's catered for me. I have 2 more kids to marry off and will no doubt be calling on Alesci's again! 5 stars on all accounts.“

I usually order their Cassata cake and it's always great, and have gotten the cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries on occasion and they have always been amazing as well! “Heard about this place from a coworker. Not easy to find - the owner runs her business out of her house. Asian bakeries/patisseries are hard to come by in the Cleveland area so naturally I was excited to try and was not disappointed. Ordered a box of pastries as well as their green tea roll cake. Croissants are the best I’ve had in Cleveland. So many flaky layers, perfect texture, just the right amount of sweetness. Green tea roll cake was also phenomenal. Had bits of red bean and the cream was light and airy. The cake itself was soft and moist. Will be coming back. Highly recommend“

“To be honest, after reading some reviews, I was a little scared come in here. It was my first time delivering here. Appointment was at 6am I showed up at 5:40. Gentlemen at the door in the check-in office asked me if I’m delivering and I said yes. He picked up the radio and page the guy. The moment the guy heard that I’m here to deliver he said immediately on my way! And I thought to myself that was a good sign. The guy showed up within a minute and told me to go into the door. I was another good sign. He got me empty within 20 minutes came out with the bills in hand and headed to me. I’m pretty impressed because of that day my schedule was very tight. Now mind you this place is a little tight, no doubt, but the door that I was given was really easy to get into. All in all, I don’t expect red carpet and free coffee. I just want to get empty and go on my way, that’s exactly what happened. So yes, five stars from me. It did not look like there is overnight parking because the place is kind of tight. But that’s not my major concern. Thanks New York. Bakery for getting me done super quick. If I get another load that delivers to this place, I will absolutely not hesitate and come down here again. 5 stars for real👍🏻“

“Checked out Luna Café (Moreland Hills location)—one of their three spots (also in Cleveland Heights and Downtown)—and it definitely lives up to the hype.

The vibe is cozy, bright, and perfect for a relaxed breakfast or coffee date. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully made.

Drinks were a highlight: the chai latte was one of the best we’ve had—perfectly spiced and perfectly sweet. The iced matcha green tea latte was smooth, earthy, and super refreshing.

For food, we tried a mix:
• Breakfast burrito – great balance of herbs and fillings, and they even customized it for us with turkey breast
• Lemon curd crepes – a standout; light, delicate, and perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy
• Steel cut oats – creamy and comforting, topped with berries and honey

They also have a great selection of freshly baked goods, including vegan options and seasonal cookies and cupcakes, which makes it hard not to grab something to go.

Overall, Luna Café nails that balance of elevated but approachable. You can tell they focus on quality ingredients and execution. Definitely a spot we’d come back to—especially for that chai and the crepes.“
