You got to be kidding me, over $20 for a burger and and I had to order at the register.. as I was in as if Im at a McDonalds? And my fries were cold.. shoe string fries w no potatoes inside.. crispy fry but not great. And for some reason I gave them a 15% tip... Fool me once. Oh.. and the burger was rare, which I prefer but couldn't help but think lots of people, given a choice, don't order burgers rare : /
There is only service at the bar. Otherwise you order when you walk in and then they bring your order to the table

I travel to CLE every few months and it’s impossible to not find myself back at Northstar. Suppose the name rings true.
High-level, on all fronts. Food, vibe, music, the space itself — they all deliver time and again, no matter the meal.

Without a doubt the best grilled chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! I hesitated because of the price but it was well worth it for a special occasion. I will definitely be back. Please keep it on the menu.

We sat down for lunch and watched a server wipe spilled coffee off the floor and immediately use that same rag to wipe most of the bar! How do you not train wait staff about cross contamination? If you eat there just go and eat in the bathroom since they wipe the bar (and probably the tables) with filthy rags! We left without ordering and will never go back!

I really wish the service was as good as the food. Something is always timed really poorly when we eat here. When i ordered takeout for pickup at a specific time, they started the order when I arrived (on time) to pick it up so I ended up waiting almost a half hour while they assembled my salad. last time I ate here with a friend, I was nearly done with my lunch before I got my drink. This time I got my drink right away, but my family got half their orders, then the family next to us got some of theirs, then we got some more dishes, then they did, then we finally had to ask about my lunch and by the time it came, everyone else in my family was almost done. It seems like the kitchen doesn't prioritize orders correctly.

They only let you order take out online, but they don’t let you do any modifications on the app. I want a salad with no cheese, how can they not improve their app so customers can make a simple modification? When I called to ask, they explained that if you want to make a modification you have to come to the store and order in person and wait for it which is at least 20 minutes wait. Terrible customer service, especially for a place that probably has a ton of vegan/vegeterian/food allergy customers. IMPROVE YOUR APP!

Always great! Clean, modern, inviting, high quality choices and just a pleasant experience. Even mom who’s hard to please was happy with her fish sandwich.

Great place to grab a quick and delicious bite to eat after Bible study on Wednesday nights. The burger was great and the fries were good too. The staff was still just as kind near closing as they would be at opening and I appreciate that. Most servers have attitudes toward the end of the night so thank you Northstar for being courteous at all hours of operation.

I go here often, and every single time the service is great and the food is delicious. I wish there were a few more options to choose from, but everything I have tried has been so good! The iced mint coffee is my favorite!
