I make it a point to come here everytime I’m visiting Cleveland. The coffee is always so good and reasonably priced, the cardamom bomb is my favorite. And the staff is always very warm and friendly !

Tried a few times. Coffee always tastes burned.

Love this coffee and location. Workers are always friendly. I recommend their cold brew and anything with their chocolate sauce or vanilla syrup. They have delicious tea options as well.

Old review: I came here and had a latte, a pour-over, and the Elderberry Tea. Everything was great. It's rare to find coffee shops in the area that know how to make a proper pour-over, but Rising Stars usually gets it right. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend trying this place out.

However, I’m changing my rating from 5 to 1 due my experience today. I’ve visited this store many times, and my coffee is usually well made. Today, May 13, 2025, I came around 4:42 PM, and they refused to make a pour-over because they were about to close. I ordered a latte, and they gave us one with oat milk—even though we didn’t ask for it. Our decaf Americano was also served in a small cup without asking our preference. I usually get a large. Very disappointing experience today.

This coffee shop is 40 minutes from my house but any chance I can get on my travels I love to stop here and get a coffee one of my favorite coffees here in the Cleveland area

Decent coffee, great vibes.

Fun little shop inside the market. You could tell they have regulars and felt family friendly.

EXCELLENT COFFEE. Their iced vanilla bean latte was INSANE. Always a first stop when we come to Van Aken.

One of the very few places to make Mocha with chocolate milk rather than syrup. Must try!

Horrible customer service. The staff members are just rude.

I usually love coming here but I tried a drink special that did not taste how it was described and I asked to return the drink and get my usual drink . I took 1 sip and they said I could not return it . I don’t know the policy but it seemed strict to charge me for another drink

While the coffee is high quality, my barista served drinks that weren’t made properly (the milk was under steamed), and was rude to me for no reason. I had high hopes, but will probably look elsewhere for coffee when visiting family.
