Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We love Cracker Barrel! The only not-so-good thing is they don't have chicken gravy to serve with their really good fried chicken. Well, sometimes their broccoli is under cooked but those are my only complaints about food. You do have to ask for honey & jelly for your biscuits but, no biggie. Sometimes there is a long wait to be seated. When they're really busy, sometimes there's also a wait for your food.

Wheelchair accessibility: They don't have enough handicapped parking spaces, but most of parking is close to restaurant.

Service was extremely slow, waited 30 minutes and still had to get up and talk with the host in order to get a waiter to our table. The waitresses on duty avoided us and others like the plague. After being waited on it still took almost another 30 minutes after the order to get drinks and than food. It wasn't too busy so there wasn't much of a reason for the issue with wait staff. For reference there was only a party of two for our bill.

Food was good and fresh, after eating we still had to wait for the bill. Others were experiencing this same frustration too, an older gentleman came up to a waitress in a different section wanting his bill because they were leaving and they still told him to wait for it.

I could understand if it was extremely busy but resteraunt was half full and it looked that there were 2 waiters per section. They had people waiting left and right, tables left dirty and overall slow. I'm still under the impression they pulled someone from the kitchen to wait on us due to the negligence.

The food was good they just need the service to be quicker.

Main course order was wrong, ask for butter & grape jelly for biscuits; came back with butter & gravy. Not sure what was going on with the waitress.

ORDER THE SAMPLER PANCAKE BREAKFAST W/ EGGS AND SAUSAGE AND THE WAITRESS FAILED TO TELL US WHEN ORDERING SAUSAGE THAT WE WOULD BE CHARGED $.99 FOR EACH PIECE WHEN THE MENU STATED THAT IT COMES WITH BACON, SAUSAGE AND HAM.

Dietary restrictions: 1st TIME BEING VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE FOOD, I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE BUT THIS TIME IT WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE

The wait at the register was too long. There line was to the back of the gift shop and there was only one person on the register. By the time a second line was opened, there were double lines almost to the back of the gift shop.

For the Low price of $40 I was able to experience a meal with lesser standards than a TV dinner. How do you forget the gravy on chicken fried chicken? I googled an Image so no one else would have to… There’s gravy… The cheesecake French toast sounded fantastic and I’d talk about it all day. Only to be immediately tarnished by receiving a brick of bread with strawberries that look like they went through a dehydration cycle. Absolutely disgraceful.
Apologies* I realized I actually wasted $50 on dinner for the raccoons.

The wait time at this specific outlet was in excess of 50 minutes, despite tables being available. The front desk seems to have been told by the waiters not to allocate tables. It took an aggressive stance to be allocated a table. A glass of tea and a breakfast bowl took 20 mins to appear. This outlet does not uphold the otherwise wonderful reputation of Crackers Barrel.

I got a meatloaf lunch. Two sides, two pieces of cornbread mash potato and pinto beans. The MP was the issue. They were uneatable it was like a big glob of lukewarm two days old tasting. I told the Mgr that I wanted a slice of meatloaf in place of that mo. I thought that we were on the same page. Apparently not she I believe a older bald woman. Said that meatloaf is not equal to those nasty MP. I do not understand. First of all you are making me late for work. And this is an inconvenience. I guess she didn't see it that way. She need to be terminated. I'm sure she has had issues with other customers in the past.

Customer service was horrible. The waitress told me she was too busy and had too many tables to take my cold grits back to the kitchen. She did not apologize and was serious. I hated the experience and won’t be back.

Ordered a steak Medium. It was well done. Sent it back. Then the second steak came it was rare and had alot of grissel could not cut up the steak, the server saw that the steak was not what was ordered. We asked to speak to the Manager . The server returned and said the manager told her to not charge us for the steak dinner. Needless to say my wife did not get full dinner meal Saturday. No one should have to go without being extended the option to order something else. We like Cracker Barrel, but, after this negative experience, there are other places to enjoy a steak dinner. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service and inter action with management.
