When I say our wedding cake was amazing 7/11/21. Words can’t describe it best cake ever she even went above and beyond and my husband had his own cake which was a carrot cake when I say all the guest are still talking about how good it was almost a year later that’s how you know she’s great at what she does. Thank you again

Sandy is an absolute delight to work with! My wife and I had tried at least three other places before trying DessertWorks, and we immediately knew we wanted to go with DessertWorks. Sandy was really helpful, allowing us to try any flavor we could even remotely want to try, and was very open about options and customizability. Additionally, she has an incredible price range for how good the baked goods are. She is much more reasonable than many other bakeries, but her desserts are every bit as good if not better than the more expensive options. She gives a free 1-year anniversary top cake as well, which means we can have a nice fresh cake for our anniversary instead of a stale, frozen option. All in all, we couldn't be more pleased with Sandy and DessertWorks, and highly recommend choosing this business for any event needs.

We booked DessertWorks as our wedding cake vendor. Sandy went above and beyond to provide us with a beautiful & delicious cake. She made sure to give us every option she had. Our wedding cake vision came to life thanks to Sandy! We can’t wait to enjoy our anniversary layer in years to come!

We were lucky to have DessertWorks included as our wedding cake vendor when booking our ceremony and reception venue! We first met Sandy for a drive-thru cake tasting during the pandemic. She was so pleasant to work with and very accommodating fully customizing our wedding cake vision and tastes. We were so pleased with our wedding cake in every way! We will be back to order for other occasions, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, etc...

Enjoyed my cake tasting today with Sandy, beyond what I could say in this review! Her cakes are phenomenal and she is just a true gift to this earth.I'll update this once we've had our wedding and eaten every last crumb of cake. And then probably one more time when we thaw our anniversary tier a year later. Dessert Works is THAT amazing!

I still remember our wedding cake and people still talk about it! This year we celebrated our 5 year anniversary and went back through our wedding photos and we were still stunned by how beautiful and delicious our cake was!

The cake was masterpiece for my daughter's wedding and taste great. Her original baker backed out on her & thank goodness! Dessert Works gave her a wonderful deal for such a beautiful cake. We received so many compliments on it & everyone wanted to know where we ordered it. I will always use Dessert Works from now on for my party needs

Poor customer service and ownership. Cakes are dry and not very good. Owner called out someone on Facebook who wasn't even the one who ordered the cake, thought this was a very poor representation of a business. I wouldn't recommend this place even though it is local. Much better places to go.

I met with this vendor about a year ago for my wedding cake. I have been going back and forth since then on whether or not I should write a review. But that experience was honestly so awful. They were originally included in the contract for my venue (if I wanted to use them). The owner contacted me on the phone to set up the tasting and from the start she was rude to me. I expressed to her potentially doing cake pops and she told me she didn’t like them, she wouldn’t make them, and even made fun of them. She gave me a couple of days we could meet after I told her our schedule. I told her I didn’t think I could make them work, because they were not compatible with our schedule, but I’d talk to my fiancé. A few days later I called to tell her we couldn’t move forward with her because my fiancé and I couldn’t meet during her store availability. She then offered a time on Mother’s Day. I told her that should work but I’d have to see when my family was celebrating that day and she responded with an attitude “What? Are you going to spend the entire day with your mother?” I was taken aback. She then backtracked and said I should invite my mom to celebrate, etc. For some reason, I still decided I’d go to the tasting since they seemed to have good ratings. On the day we met, I explained that maybe we could have donuts and then a cutting cake. She proceeded to tell me how donuts were a bad idea and that no one would eat them at the wedding. She then mentioned they didn’t make them (which would have been a much more valid reason). We started talking about the wedding cake. I showed her example photos and I explained what I wanted but she wasn’t quite getting what I was saying. By the end of the appointment, she had made me so uncomfortable that I couldn’t yet commit to using her for my wedding. I told her I was shopping around and she said “Well, your venue won’t give you that much money back if you don’t go with us”. I told her that I’ll discuss it with the venue myself. She started to backpedal and say “We can bring in donuts if you really want them”. I asked if I could have the receipt copy (that she was about to give me before I mentioned looking at other bakeries) so I could have what we talked about on paper and she kind of snapped and said “I only give this to you if you book” and then offered to let me take a photo. I declined at this moment knowing I wasn’t going to go with her. From start to end, it was an inappropriate and unpleasant interaction. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt when we were on the phone, but I couldn’t justify her behavior after we met in person. Her cake was good, but there are plenty of places to get great cake that have much better customer service.
