I ordered from the totally new menu. I ordered the Shepards Pie which used to be great. They served it in a shallow pan. Half the meat was so tough I could not eat it. Most of the dish was mashed potatoes instead of being just a covering. Then the burned a layer of hash brown casserole over the top. I was hoping for a simple and good meal. Thumbs down on the new menu. I won't be back. What a shame.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. Ordered food to take home and the chicken was burnt and dumplings looked entirely inedible and like prison food.

Kirk the VP of Cracker Barrel was in the store area. He’s a very friendly social man. Great Grand kids enjoyed talking with him. More importantly he truly enjoyed talking with them.
Food was good as always. Waitress was very attentive and friendly.

Haven't visited a CB in 25 years. Went for breakfast and was glad to see the old Cracker Barrel hadn't changed... yet. Got a fair breakfast and great service, but the place smelled a little musty. When I go to a restaurant for breakfast I want it to smell like breakfast!

Lots of food choices. Good coffee comfy seats Really enjoy the decor DON'T REMODEL DONT REBRAND or I will boycott and tell others via social media . My waitress jenelle was a lovely young girl smart knowledgeable about the food menu. Give her a raise. Nice to see young people working.
Ive eaten here many times over the 20+ years this restaurant has been in Sheffield, and the last time will be my last.
Firstly, this restaurant is FILTHY.
yall insist on having decorations everywhere, and there is so much food splash buildup on the frames and decorations. You need to have the damn place cleaned. BAD.
Secondly, the food has gone so far down hill. Pancakes were pathetic. People used to revere yalls pancakes. They were the size of my fist and paper thin. My bacon, burnt. Every aspect of my meal was bad.
Server took our order, dropped our food, then dropped our bill. She didnt bother to ask how our food was, and if she did I would have sent my dish back.
at this point we just wanna leave.
Well the damn cashier was a jerk to my elderly mother ...
Seems like a miserable place to work. I am not spending another penny!
