We have been coming here every time we visit my daughter in Avon
for the last 6 years. Saturday was the first time that I was very disappointed. The service was great though the portion of my husband’s Spaghetti Bolognese was NOT. The amount of spaghetti was almost the same amount as the two kid portions we purchased for the grandkids. The amount of bolognese sauce didn’t even cover all the spaghetti. For the first time ever coming to this restaurant he left still hungry.

Food was delicious. We ordered different types of pasta dishes as our entrees during our visit: lasagna, veal marsala on penne, and penne with garlic and butter. The pasta was well cooked and had a nice, fresh texture. Service was also superb, and our server (unfortunately I forgot her name) was so sweet and attentive despite it being somewhat busy.

If I could have rated higher I would have. The few times I have visited, the service has been excellent, the food is fabulous. The music has been appropriate for the setting, loud enough to hear and low enough to not interfere with conversation.

Why was the patio closed on a Friday evening in July?

To me, it was just ok. Large salad was very good but our meals were nothing special. I had chicken Parmesan which was a good size but the sauce seemed very bland. My partner had chicken Marsala which he said did not taste like what he had before and he hardly any noodles. I didn't really pay attention to the price but when I got in the car and saw the bill I was quite shocked. I felt what it was t money for what we got

We visited from out of town. We ate here the first time on a Sunday and had a wonderful experience. The server was very knowledgeable and attentive, we never had an empty water glass or dirty dish on our table, and the food, drinks and dessert were fabulous.
We decided to go back on Wednesday for pizza and salad. We did not get any adult beverages or dessert this time. Our server acted like we were wasting her time. Didn't refill our drinks, dirty dishes were not cleared until the end of the meal which was gross! The food was not great either. The antipasta was weird and the pizza was so bland. The sauce had no taste.

We will give them another try, but will definitely not order the pizza again.

The food was pretty bland. The gnocchi was sub-par. My husband asked for extra garlic when ordering the dish. The gnocchi came out with tons of oil, but no garlic in sight. When I asked for more from the waitress, she brought some out after a spell, and it had no flavor, it tasted as if it were minced garlic from a jar. For Garlic to have no taste. That is a big deal.

Thought we'd try a new place but regret it. I think Chef Boyardee may be better. We sat at the bar and the service was great. Everything from the wine to the appetizer to the side salad (bag salad) and our meals were not good. We barely ate half of the food and did not want the leftovers. I had the meatball casserole and it was just meatballs with cheese and sauce - bland sauce, not good meatballs but the cheese was good. My husband had meat stuffed shells and didnt eat his either. We tried... wont be back.

We have dined there forever. Last nights meal was not what we expected. Alfredo sauce had no taste. Pasta overcooked.
